Super happy with the excellent lumber pricing and customer service. Rommel was great to deal with, he understood our project needs and made some excellent cost and time saving recommendations. We compared pricing to local Edmonton suppliers and even with delivery from Devon, we came out ahead.

I was very pleased once again with my visit to 1960 Lumber. Not just by the prices and appearance of this store but by the customer service. The two young ladies looking after the store this morning were very helpful and seemed to keep themselves busy around the store while there were no customers to help. They both offered to assist me with finding items as my son and I gathered up supplies for our tree fort project. The boss man was out on deliveries and it was nice to see that the staff weren’t just just killing time behind the counter playing on their devices. The fella in the yard who helped us was awesome chatting with my son about our project and sorting some junky boards out of our pile. Even though he was aware we were just building a tree fort he took the time to pull some twisted and split boards from our pile as we were loading. Thanks for the extra care an attention!

Outstanding hardware company that’s willing to go the extra mile. I showed up pretty close to closing time as I was running behind and they still got my order out right away when a lot of people would’ve just turned you away and said you have to come back! Thanks for the great service

Find it disgusting to drive all the way there for plywood and have to go to the bathroom but that very large facility has "no public washrooms"... are you kidding? He should have peed in the parking lot. These places have lost their humanity and common sense. Its a basic need people!!!! Will never get our business

They are all so knowledgeable. No matter who you ask they all know the answer. I dealt with a lady in stains the other day and she was so great and gave me good tips. Another lady in aluminum deck railing who is doing a quote up for me. *edit, we’ve received and installed all our railing and it looks fantastic!
My husband and I support them for all our wood/building supply needs. Don’t go to Rona/Home Depot if your in the area they have a large selection of everything you’ll need!
