Bought my house through them. Invested with shares for 6 months , after that it was a breeze. Kept paying down the house and they didn't charge anything extra. When everything was paid, went to a nearby lawyer they set up to transfer the entire house onto our name as its under halal share before that. Was very easy. Will use them again for my kids houses InshaAllah. Brother was straight forward

They do have 2 issues with their "halal" contract.
1. Loss should equal to the percentage of ownership, but they only take responsibility for 10-20% of the loss.
2. Property tax and insurance should be divided among the owners, in their case, the buy is 100% responsible for all costs.

Positive: There is no interest involved, no banks involved. All money comes from the community members who invest their money.

Went to these guys to get financing done on a brand new vehicle after they clearly said that it would be no problem to do so. Had to make an appt during a workday and drive all the way to Scarborough from the Peel region. It was not only price gouging (asking close to 13% "non-interest" payment), but the president who was pulling all the strings, never came out of the confines of his office to talk to me while i drove across the city sitting in his meeting room filling out countless document after document. he keeps sending his peons to get more information, fill out more documents and have more questions answered. the president - pervez nasim or something like that - never even came out. After all that, I went home to await their decision and the guy after a few more days says they cannot do anything for us. What a joke. Just another Muslim organization under the guise of "halal" financing holding people hostage with their questionable schemes and of course bottom-grade customer service. Dont deal with Ansar Financial at all.

In the last 5 years, while the market and economy have been doing great, my RSP with ANSAR dropped 41.7%. What do they invest in? real-estate is up everywhere in Canada. Prices are soaring. Yet, this company is losing money!!
