Arrived late last night and successfully picked up my keys from their lockboxes. The property looked good, no big issues so far.

Ryan is a helpful agent, answering my questions with efficiency and patience. Still in the middle of the renting process, let's see how everything goes. Will come back to update for sure.

SCAM! STAY AWAY!
All reviews that are 5 stars are from friends and employees of this property management company. If you look at the 1 star reviews here are from first hand students that have experienced the absolute horror of living in one of their properties. Students are simply taken advantage and will be charged extra fees for absolutely no reason. To add on to this properties are left unmanaged with many issues when you first move in. Our house had garbage left inside with mold growing on counters and the wall. The toilets didn’t work and leaked into the rooms below while there was also a hole left in the kitchen ground. LSR then goes to try and charge all of this to us even though we documented it all during our move in. Not to mention their contractors coming in unannounced. THERE WAS ONETIME WHEN I WAS SLEEPING IN MY LOCKED BEDROOM WHEN ONE OF THEM UNLOCKED MY DOOR AND CAME IN EVEN AFTER 2 OF MY ROOMMATES TOLD THEM I WAS SLEEPING. Scary to think that they would do that. If that’s their norm where do they draw the line?

Edit: LSR always has an excuse to the problems and issues that are posed in these reviews. As I wrote in my email I have provided the proof that you entered without notice and neither the move in nor move out form has ever been seen let alone signed by any member of our group.

Luxury rentals was great during my tenancy! Whenever we had a maintenance problem in the house they sent someone over within the next two days. They also sent us detailed move-out instructions and offered a discounted cleaning service to make our lives easier.

I’d give 0 star if possible. Charges student ridiculously. We cleaned the house and vacuumed everything, and here is 500$ cleaning fee on us. And told us to put the garbage on the curb and charged us for 125$.
If you are struggling with life and academic, I’d recommend you to live on the street rather than signing a lease with Luxury Student Rental. I lived there for 3 years at 88 wharncliffe road, first year i moved in i got robbed...

DO NOT LIVE HERE. We pay almost a thousand in rent every month per person, upon moving in there was water problems and mold and it never got fixed. Then, my CEILING COLLAPSED, ALL MY STUFF GOT RUINED, ME AND MY ROOMMATES WERE LEFT HOMELESS, AND THEY COMPLETELY GHOSTED US. Even the FIREFIGHTERS we had to call told us that the condition of the house was ridiculous and told us to evacuate immediately. LUXURY STUDENT RENTALS HAS TAKEN NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND STILL HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE US FULL RENT AND UTILITIES!

The response from the company is actually laughable… when the house flooded and we were left nowhere to stay, their “emergency line” wasn’t working and it took them DAYS to even be away of the situation. when repairs started, they extended the time it would take three times. Moreover, almost every time we had contacted them about a matter, such as ending our lease, it took them AT LEAST five days to respond and then WEEKS to actually respond with an answer regarding the matter at hand. So much for communication.

Hands down the best property management company I have ever worked with. I first used another property management company in the area (you can probably guess which one _ _ _ Rentals) which completely mismanaged my rentals. Didn't alert me of a non-paying renter (who didn't pay for over 9 months), didn't maintain regular home maintenance (furnace filter change), etc. They were impossible to work with. Then I was introduced in Luxury Student Rentals.. where do I begin.....

Luxury Student Rentals is on the ball in effect aspect of the word. The owner Britta is amazing, clearly knows how to run a well-oiled property management system that has both the owners and students best interests. It doesn't stop there, her office staff is superb, from Priscilla to Kiersten, every time I call they intimately know the details of your home, address your needs and always follow through. They communicate any issues in a timely manner, offer great advice and services to help upkeep the property. They also leverage technology which provides you with visibility to payments, maintenance requests etc. Further, they are highly professional and always go above and beyond to keep their clients happy. As a real estate investor my only wish is the ability to clone this company for my other rentals.

I live in California and I have peace of mind knowing that my rentals are being overseen by the best property management company. I never write reviews but I had to do so as they are truly amazing. You will not be disappointed, I promise.

We literally had bats in our walls. Would give them 0 stars as they do not care about your well-being and are just after your money. Additionally, my brother rented a house from them and everyone kept falling sick so they asked for a mold test, and LSR faked it and said everything was fine. When we went to an external source for a mold test, they said the mold was at a significantly high level. They’re liars and cheats, save yourself and find another company to rent from.
