I recently rented out a townhome in London using Vantage. I was able to meet with the owner (Sarah) who was a pleasure to work with. The townhouse was rented within a couple weeks of us talking, and so far we have had no issues.

Prior to renting, the unit needed updating, and Vantage handled all updates, from putting in a new railing, re-finishing a hardwood floor, and painting.

I do see some negative reviews here from tenants, and I actually spoke to Sarah about them. She was saying the unfortunate fact was that they cannot do any repairs unless the landlord ok's them. This leads to them being in the position where they feel bad for the tenants, but cannot do anything to rectify the situation. She is however trying to work on only accepting landlords who are reasonable about completing repairs.

As a property owner, I would not recommend Vantage property management. In my opinion, I spent way more time following up on requests and dealing with issues while Vantage was managing my property than necessary.

Recently, after finding us a tenant that lasted only 14 months, we visited the property and found burn marks on the unit's newly refinished flooring that were not noted in the inspection and thus not claimed back to the tenant. I was not provided with photos as part of any inspection process. After five weeks, Vantage was able to obtain a quote to repair the burnt hardwood flooring. $1,300 + HST for the repair. They told me that they emailed the tenant to recover the funds but haven't heard back from him - no surprise. He also didn't return the house keys.

In my opinion, if you need a property manager in London you can probably do better than Vantage. As a tenant you should have a wonderful experience with them.

Thats not the real story and you know it. It's practically a skill that you can apologize while still deflecting blame on to somebody else. I am not petty as you are implying ,nor was I having a temper tantrum because someone told me no. Take care and have a great day !

This week we confirmed a house form this company . We gave all information and last month rent in the consideration of James Walter . But this company rent out the house to another tenant with giving us any final notice. This is the way they doing business ? Very unsatisfactory…
