Within the first month of living here we have multiple amozong packages stolen, our car that is in the "secure garage" broken into twice and my boyfriends motercycle stolen from the garage. We contacted management and they said nothing they could do, make sure you lock your car. The security they hire had no idea that this was happening until I talked to them. When we contacted the police about the stolen motercycle they told us to ask for the security footage which manage wouldn't give us so the officer tried to contact her and she wouldn't answer him or cooperate. They give 24 hours notice when trying to enter your apartment only on work days so because we have dogs we need to contact them and let them know they can't enter since we have no time to rearrange our schedules to be home for them. Nothing gets fixed properly, the building is a mess, garbage and food sitting in the stairwells for days. Whoever manages their app just says the problems are fixed without fixing them. I feel bad for the Superintendent trying to fix all the problems with poor management. Overall not a good experiance

Cherryhill is the worst apartment ever.

First of all, after month I moved in , we got bitten from bedbugs, and it’s probably from the apartment and my boyfriend saw bugs in the laundry room. We have contact the building manager or office to have the treatment for bedbugs, they did for us twice, and it’s still have a lot. ( I believe the whole building have already been infected). They just scheduled whenever they want and never care about tenant(because they send a notice before the treatment but during the time my unit included me, three of us were the last year of university and we all prepared for final exam which is very important, and they just said they don’t care. You have to know the preparation for bedbugs treatment were really Complicated because we have to packed all our bedding, cloth, kitchen stuff etc…. (Just like move out) so that’s really waste us time.

Secondly, There were a lot of things missing from our unit and a lot of problems that weren't fixed before we moved in. We try to call to book maintenance repairs, they scheduled date but no one showed up, until now it’s already been 7months( we just have 5 months left here). They hardly response your request.

Thirdly, I hardly have a good sleep here which caused my spirit was severely affected. You will hear Very loud renovation sounds come from inside the building at irregular intervals and last for a long time. If the inside of the building is quiet, you will hear the sound of the lawn mower coming from outside, lasting a long time and not working properly. The efficiency is very low, resulting in a serious nuisance.

I really had a very very extremely bad living experience and environment here. Hope I can move out soon.

I lived her for 2 years about 5 years ago, then i moved out, until I recently decided to move back because i liked the area, the management was good, and there’s nice amenities.

Just about everything is worse now.

When i lived here before, you could make service requests on their website, and they’d get back to you on the same day, then send someone to help on the same or next day. London is not even listen on the Minto website anymore!!!

There was also an option for you to speak with a human whenever you called, and they’d actually answer the phone every now and then.

It’s always noisy because there’s ALWAYS maintenance going on in here, If it’s not maintenance, then it’s a fire alarm drill. They should sound proof their apartments.

You decided to take the day off from work/school to rest because you’re sick? Yea no. They’ll keep pounding on your head.
You don’t have morning classes and thought you could catch up on sleep? Ain’t happening!

Only giving 1 because I can't give 0 stars. I had just parked in visitor parking when a guy claiming to be the building manager stormed out yelling at me about parking there and asking if I lived in the building. If I lived there I wouldn't have parked in visitor parking. He threatened to have my vehicle towed and when I said I would wait for the truck he took photos of my license plate and said he was sending it to the bylaw office to ticket my vehicle. When I asked for his card to confirm he was the building manager he refused to provide it to me. When I called the head office they were no help and only offered the guys number to have them try to clear it up. Definitely will not be coming back nor will I EVER consider renting from them.

Have been a resident of Minto apartments in London for two years. The service is great and the buildings are clean and safe.

I have emailed service requests or concerns and they are followed up within a timely manner. The apartments are old but you get used to it.

The area is mostly occupied by seniors so the living areas are quiet at night. This area is perfect for students who want peace and quiet or couples/families who wish to live in a safe area without loud parties all day/night.

Compared to other parts of London this area is safe. No druggies or addicts trying to steal your stuff.

Currently have NO HEAT in my apartment & have made multiple service request. Finally was told they couldn’t fix it because they would have to turn off the water for the whole building. They offered space heaters… that we still have yet to receive & it’s been over a week since they've responded. It’s the middle of winter, freezing cold. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you’re thinking about moving to a building managed by Minto, I advise you to look elsewhere.

The office staff....need training. They refuse to believe your complaints. My heater was 50c and they would not believe me that it was too hot. I had to take a picture of a thermometer after being ignored. Then the heat was on in August. Again, told I was mistaken. Multiple tenants had to make the same complaint before action was taken. Regularly have no hot water. The hot water issue has been happening for over 2 YEARS. Zero problem solving skills. Zero customer service skills. Your concerns will be ignored, yet they are tying to raise the rent above the allowed limits. Garbage every where and now cockroaches!! Overall feeling of tenants is that minto doesn't care. Not a good reputation to have...stop saying sorry and get on the ball.

The Soccer Samurai

We were sprayed for cockroaches five months ago about three different times. We should have just moved already. One night I couldn't sleep because how infested it was I counted 65 cockroaches crawling around it was disgusting. Don't ever rent with Minto the only thing keeping me and my fiance here was our building manager because of how much he actually cared and went out of his way to do an amazing job but he wasn't appreciated by Minto. He just had his last day as he got a better job offer from a better company who I hope will appreciate him. Tonight I saw five cockroaches so I guess they're back. We will be moving as soon as possible and I will never rent with Minto again. Building 105 has been infested for months!
