Surprising to see two 5 star reviews from Juan Bermúdez and Emerson Boldt after the a building manager got called out in an earlier post.
I don't really write reviews but thought i'd call out this unethical behavior, as the timing of these posts are odd, so i would assume they are associated with the company.
Not to mention I didnt have a very good experience, and the apartment mentioned earlier is still available and updated today despite the claim that it was rented out. There are enough reviews here calling out how corrupt the company is, thankfully

Replying to the below comment, I believe you forgot to also caution every one star review on your company, I also recommend you to listen to feedback, grow up, learn and improve instead of trying to act tough. Also looks like the manager lied before according to a previous post, what prevents him from lying again saying he doesn't know me. Lastly, fortunately I have proof of what im stating (one of which is the reviews themselves). Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.

What a corrupt and unethical company in my opinion

They have taken the keys to our own breaker room for god knows what reason.

Not only is this highly unethical but is a major saftey and fire hazard if we cant have access to our own power shut off. Tonight the power has gone off the building manager refuses to help and says to call afterhours which we have for 3 hours.

Stay far away from
This company.

Potential landlords who are thinking to list with transpacific imagine the liability issues this holds to you to have an incompetent property management company that takes away access to a pivotal thing like a power shut off. Imagine if something was too happen. I assure you know insurance is not going to cover you from sheer ignorance.

Stay far far away anyone who is also having similar issues with transpacific please email me as we are preparing a class action lawsuit to defend our rights that are being abused

I was out looking for an apartment. Rick the building manager of 8650 selkirk, asked me about my wife, once knew my wife is Egyptian and currently living in Egypt, he seemed to not like (he said something along the lines of "why didn't you tell me that before"). I was about to send my application an hour after the viewing then i was surprised by him saying he said that the apartment is rented to someone else.

I asked him also if theres pest control, maybe he didn't like that as well?

I messaged him 10 mins later with another number to see if hes lying inquiring about the same exact apartment and he set up a viewing for tomorrow, LOL?.

Oh well.

Answering the reply: I literally messaged him 10 minuites later with another number to ask if its still available and he said yes....lol.. I even verified its the same exact apt on the same exact floor. Do you want me to add screenshots ? 🙂 Also I never said your office is racist, I simply outlined my experience with a specific building manager during a viewing, which seems to be inline with other reviews. I recommend you to take appropriate action rather than trying to lie publicly.

Hands down the worst property management company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

We are in a historic and once lovely building that TPR took over roughly a year after we moved in.
Within weeks they filled suites without vetting people causing a security issue, we were NOT pet friendly before TPR took over because of the nature of being a historic building with original 120 year old floors, walls, etc now the entire basement floor is eye watering with the vile punch in the face of cat urine.

We’ve been battling a mouse infestation since the winter of 2022 and TPRs response has been Amazon rat traps, the poison kind that kill the mice once they have returned to the walls or where ever they are hiding causing them to decay leaving a vile smell in the entire building.

We have had several issues with the hot water heater leaking, front door glass being broken, people getting into the building, garbage bins not being picked up by the city and the property supers not bringing the bins back in, or taking them out on time leaving massive piles of garbage for the “local wildlife” to tare through and spread all over the side walk.

If you hate you’re self and hate your life, Trans Pacific are the people for you!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.HORRIBLE

Absolutely adherent behaviour at the hands of this company.

Unprofessional is a understatement of how poorly this company is run. Constant emails ignored, and unwarranted harassment at the hands of the management company here! Stay away from this company by all means

Do not list your properties with this company even if its the last option in the world. Anyone who wants further proof can email me and ill happily show them how they treat people.

Rod it’s unfortunate i have to resort to public review forum before we get a reply. We will not be bullied , harassed and ignored.

Please contact me back and ill take this review down.

I tried this realty advisory despite the other poor reviews as they were the only one available to help me find a vacation home. All I can say is, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

It was not stress free, the buying process was made so complicated with Josephine insulting the home owners of the home that I really wanted to buy.

She has all the qualities of an evil dictator and I have no idea why she even has a real estate license when she clearly don't like people, let alone houses. Valuable advice would be to STAY CLEAR, the entire process will be giving me nightmares for years.

My family and I viewed a rental property managed by Transpacific Realty last weekend. Eddy, who was the property manager, seemed extremely excited to have us as tenants, and essentially guaranteed us an approval on the spot. He implied that we were the only interested party. We submitted our rental application shortly after.

As this was our first time dealing with a property management company (versus the landlord directly), we had some extra questions and hesitations. When we submitted our application, we also asked Eddy if he could provide us with some sort of documentation confirming that Transpacific Realty was the designated property management company assigned to rent out this property. As background information, Eddy did not have a business card at the time of the showing, and while that wasn't a big deal to us, it raised a small red flag. We just wanted to be sure that we were renting a legitimate property from a legitimate company.

Eddy immediately became dismissive and borderline rude, and essentially told us that he couldn't provide us with any documentation. We wanted to get in contact with Eddy to further clarify our request, but any subsequent emails and calls were ignored.

We inquired about this separately with a professional in the industry, and was advised that while our request was generally uncommon, as tenants we have the right to this information. We understood that perhaps we were being overly cautious, however we believed that this was a reasonable request as potential tenants, especially with the increase in rental scams nowadays. Since our attempts at contacting Eddy were ignored, we reached out to Rod, the president. He was immediately apologetic and told us that he'd look into it.

A day later, we received no follow up from Rod, but instead received an email from Eddy simply telling us that he'd be renting the property out to someone else.

I truly wanted to give Transpacific Realty the benefit of the doubt, but we can't help but assume that the reason our application was suddenly denied was because we asked an extra question, or what may have been "extra work" for Eddy to look into. Overall, we just felt extremely disrespected and dismissed. From being extremely excited to rent the property to us, to declining our application with no further explanation and apparently no other interested parties in line, the only explanation was that Transpacific Realty simply didn't want to put in the extra work it would take to address our concern.

If this situation was any indication of how they would treat us in the future if we were to become tenants (dismissive of our concerns), then we are better off not renting from Transpacific Realty. It's unfortunate and disappointing because we were truly excited to rent the property.
