I am 59 years old and have lived on PEI my entire life so I have been part of waste watch from the beginning. I have almost never had an issue with cart pickup until I moved to my new home on Rte 19 in DeSable, I now have a nazi driver. He has refused my bins 3 times in the 2 months I have lived at this location. First time was for 'cardboard' in the green bin. The cardboard in question was outside on the ground for a month and was soaking wet, I followed the guidelines....This time I had a few random waste items beside my black cart. He emptied the cart but left the items......

I grew up with Waste Watch. It started on the island when I was a kid. So I have been sorting most my life. I have NEVER had a bin tagged. Now all of a sudden my WASTE bin is refused?!?! I've never changed the way I sorted so who changed the rules And good luck getting a human on the phone. I've called multiple days (I'm now 3 pick ups refused) and no one answers or calls back. Since GFL took over I've heard nothing but complaints from neighbors. Bring back Superior or get your drivers to do their damn jobs!

Having no other place to complain, I'm ranting here.
As new residents of the Island, we have been trying to do our due diligence, and have been sorting our garbage, recycling, and compostables as close to the guidelines as possible. So why isn't the recycling picked up?
Blue bags, sorted into the 2 categories, it's our day for compost, so the blue bags sit beside our compost, compost goes, blue bags don't. What's the deal?
Maybe you guys should focus on training your own people, instead of pushing the learning curve onto the public.
Guess it's going in the landfill now, seeing as there's no other options.
I'm sorely disappointed. And judging by these reviews, I'm not the only one.

This week the black bin was left unemptied. No tag. No explanation. We do our very best to sort the garbage but I refuse to put medical waste (Kleenex etc) into the compost. And tourists frequently do not bother to separate their paper from their food leftovers. So those bags go into the garbage too. Now we have a full bin and a full B & B - we pay a premium for garbage removal and spend an inordinate amount of time, energy (and water) to comply with the rules and what we get is a garbage garbage service. CLEAN UP YOUR ACT.

Items placed curbside for over a month for spring cleanup waste that still have not been picked up in Charlottetown. I attempted to call their customer service line only to have someone hang up on the other end before even picking up my call!

I sent them an email only to be told that it is my responsibility to notify them that they missed collection even though it's their job and items were placed outside well ahead of scheduled pickup and still has not been collected. Ever since GFL has taken over as the main sub for IWMC the service quality has dropped drastically. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

They dont even deserve 1 star. Many missed pickups over the last year and they've recently started throwing trash in people's yard/on the streets. You call them to report anything and they say they'll take care of it but never do. The girls in customer service are friendly but quite frankly they're just all talk until the drivers start doing their job better.

I know myself and many others who are still trying to get rid of Fiona debris. Rather than do the right thing and keep picking up debris and preventing disasters like wildfire IWMC is using a natural disaster to make profits. Disgusting, irresponsible and dangerous. But that's PEI and the scum who run this province for ya.

Every compost
cart in our area is picked up except ours.We are the only cart on our side of the street. Not a long walk. This is not a one time issue. There is no good reason.for this. Please do better.
