Save your money and go with any other company!! I have currently started a petition in our building to remove charter pm immediately as property management. They may look good on paper and tell you all the things they are going to do but we have a list of complaints that nothing has been done about. Our condo is not happy with Charter PM and there service!! Happy to get paid but unhappy to have to do anything!
Edited after they responded: the dryer is still broken. Thanks Charter for `all your hard work` at our property. Don't just take my word for there service - read the other awful reviews the echo my statements. Is this who you want managing your home?

We had concerns about mice getting into the duct work in our condo unit (we live right by the Bow River). Charter had the exterminator out to meet with us in no time. He showed us the black mice boxes that are located throughout the condo grounds. He indicated that the mice had probably gotten use to avoiding the bait in the boxes and indicated that he would change the bait right away. Problem solved. I think this is pretty typical of the responsive service we receive from Charter.

Charter is, in my opinion, a sub-par management company.
The site manager didn't understand what category our corporation fell under. I was told it was a bare land, and even though I knew it was not, I still had to prove this to their site management that it's a conventional condominium. The previous site managers we've been rotating through have been no better. The best one was the guy who didn't know how to deposit cheque's.

Mel Doughty our property manager is awesome. After a long thorough search for a new property management company, our building landed on Charte PM. With Mel's thoughtful, efficient and experienced help we now have a building that runs smoothly, meetings that are conducted professionally and when issues arise they are dealt with promptly. We have not been tied into any specific vendors and charter has successfully assisted us through some very challenging projects. I would not hesitate to recommend them. In the 17 years as a resident and board member of our building I am grateful to have Charter PM and Mel managing our asset.

As a condo owner during last few years whenever I contacted Jane or Charter for any help or service I found they lack service mindset & competency. I feel condo fee dollars could be used better elsewhere.

Anytime I have had to reach out to Charter Property Management for any concerns, big or small, Mel has been tremendously helpful! Mel is efficient and thorough; has always responded in a timely matter. I could not be more thankful to her, after moving into a new building and having a few questions she has been able to answer. Mel is amazing!
