This place is like a prison. Very bad smell. Dirty environment. And no responsible manager. You can call them and they are not responsible for anything but taking rental fees.

The building tends to have a displeasing odor in the halls and stairwells that comes and goes. Since moving in 5 months ago, I have had no less than 10 requests for additional paperwork or other things to take my time with, which should've been handled at move-in. They lost my direct debit form and then sent me a non-payment slip for late rent. There are 4 laundry machines in the building. For the first 6 weeks I lived here, none were operational. Since then, 1-2 are consistently out of service. If you contact management about them, you are told that you must deal directly with the laundry machine company and it's not their problem. The laundry room is consistently dirty as well. They try to enter without 24 hours notice, and reschedule maintenance appointments you book online without asking first, and you're stuck with the new time. My carpets are so old that they are lifting/bunching due to how stretched they are. There are so many layers of paint on the cupboards that soon after moving in, just having dishes on the paint has it peeling off in layers. This company has zero customer service, and the building is mediocre.

I completely agree with Mr Eh's review. Unprofessional, unpleasant, staff does not care about you. Someone blocked my parking spot that I pay boardwalk for monthly and when I phoned they said "I don't know what to do park on the street." Completely unprofessional. They will ask about one showing and book three. Then when I wake up early to meet them for the showing they don't show up. When I call them they say there's no showing. Communication is the worst of any landlord I have ever experienced. They forgot about construction and put up a notice AFTER it started even though we needed to move vehicles BEFORE they arrived. Not to mention the building smells like sewage, the drains don't work, carwash is noisy 100% of the time, AND it is overpriced as hell even with the "discount".

Never, EVER rent here. Avoid at all costs.

Worst place I've ever lived the management doesn't care about anything going on as long as you pay your rent. I was threatened and bullied to the point i moved out. Do not rent from these losers unless you want to be threatened and bullied if the ppl who live there don't like you. Worst experience in my whole life I would never rent from boardwalk again. Don't be fooled by the pictures it looks nothing like that. Total rip off and it stinks and the heat is on all year round. I was on Calgary housing so I didn't pay full price and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
