This is the worst junk removal company ever do not I repeat do not hire them. We were told job would take four days first day four men there to do the job then down to only two guys bottles of alcohol found after they left they only work four hours a day, they asked to be reimbursed for broken tools and garbage bags. They demand to be paid everyday or else they do not show up and their rate goes up everyday on day 7 we put a stop to it and they hurried to collect what scrap metal they could put in their truck the fastest we ever saw them work
We doubt very much we will ever see the thirty seventy split the owner promised or the $350.00 deposit we had left on the outset we were told on the second day that they had misjudged the job at hand and it would cost more and boy did it ever we are out of pocket of $9000.00 now and have to hire someone else they are complete shylocks have reported them to better business bureau and have spread the news terrible service owner never returned calls if you hire them good luck

10 months later owner responded.....owner did not contest that the stated amount of time was 3 hours for 2 men to remove junk from crawl space.....but spent a great deal of time talking about abstracts...like cost of gas ...their response was vague as i said they were.....But location was only a couple of km from Downtown sechelt and they were booked to do a estimate 2 days prior but did not show.....So not sure where i go but based on their response...i would downgrade to a 2 star....the actual work by the guys was good....But as i said....dont get caught in a last minute crunch where they delay wanting to give a on site estimate....i believe its just a technique to get more money....JMO......Why the response to my review 10 months later? Doest that not say it all.....

One of the things i found difficult is these companies for the most part do not want to do estimates in advance.....no different here so you are lucky to get them to come.....Vague in terms of what they charge for as extras....in this case the work by the guys who cleaned out the basement was good....they took two loads...3 hours in time...but still almost $1400....they added things like $50 for gas.....But if you can get them to come out well in advance.....I was rushed....So its very hard to get definitive answers over the phone....i toyed with 4 stars and gave it too them....but i settled for 3....the realtor tried on several occasions to get Jayne to come by for a estimate in advance......another company did come by and they seemed to think 3 hours work should cost $2000....Be very careful folks....I paid the bill immediately because the quality of the work was good....But the project was two loads to dump not one....But how much is a junk removal worth...? So in summary...get a written quote in advance....itemized....its really hard to get them to do a hourly rate....but 3 hours $1400.00 only 20 minutes from Dump and 5 minutes to Salish Soils.....This maybe the new norm for pricing.....But again their actual work is good

I hired Coast JUNK Removal, who responded on time and as quoted. Jayne and her crew removed several pieces of furniture that had to be negotiated through a narrow path and up several stairs. We would not hesitate to use Coast Junks services again in the future.

This company agreed to pick something up for me. Waited til after the time the quoted and backed out. Tried to give them a second chance and they did the exact same thing. If you want people to show up, look elsewhere.

Horrible experience. Do not care about your time. Quick recap of my experience: They "slept in" through an appointment then rescheduled for later that day. Missed the rescheduled appointment with no call to say they couldnt make it or if they would be late. Eventually called an hour and a half later saying they wont make it. I said to them to forget it altogether because at that point I had enough.
