Amazing service! I figured our tree needed a clean up and we had John come over and take a look. He suggested to me what needed to be done and educated me on what care our tree requires. I am beyond happy with how our tree looks. It is able to breathe again! John and his team kept our yard very tidy and kept a birds nest with birdies nice and safe.

Johnny's crew pruned a 50 year old elm. I was expecting the whole tree to be pruned. When asked why the whole wasn't done, I was told they only take 20% of tree off. So 20% off 4 main branches and nothing off the other 3 makes for a tree half pruned. Asked Johnny to come take a look. Was told it looked good, although he never stopped and talk to me. And he promised to do a couple of bushed that had lots of dead on them. Not a happy customer.

Really good job done by these guys. Large stand of dead poplars felled, large evergreen cleaned up and reshaped, 3 or 4 other evergreens taken out of tight spots within maple trees. Good crew, great clean up , overall very happy with the work done and fair prices as well. We will use this company again no hesitation. Super busy year for all tree guys so plan ahead and book ahead for optimal timelines for your project.

June18,2021 returned to fix the roots of large tree with his stump grinder. Very quickly John got rid of problems in about 25 minutes. John doesn’t forget his customers and makes sure that the issues from tree removal are taken care of. Awesome work John. 5 star performance, all the way. Needed this to accommodate driveway addition. Super dependable.

Johnny Korthuis came to my home June 5 to assess the pruning of my large poplar tree. He listened to what I wanted was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a quote and advised it would be done in June and he would contact me when they would arrive. June 25 he left me a message to say they would be at my home June 26 . Three arborist arrived at 9:20 and they listened to my thoughts and concerns about the pruning process. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and began the pruning. They worked very quickly and did an excellent job. They also removed a stump from a previous tree removal.
They did a very good clean up of the tree debris and hauled it all away.
I wish to thank Johnny and all his arborist employees for the excellent workmanship!
I would call them again because of the quality work & friendly professional employees!

I had three large poplar trees that were in a very hard spot to get out and we're 23 years with no grooming done to them. They suggested a crane for safety and easiest way out. Also, they were the only company that mentioned insurance and permits, two things that every company should have but I had others come by that did not even mention it.
These guys are very professional and cleaned up well on the way out. Very happy with the work and effort. Will use again for future tree adventures. Thanks again!

We had an old white spruce in front yard, that was leaning and a worry to us. So after not liking the advice or the price, we got from another tree company. We contacted John. He responded right away and gave us, what I thought, was a very fair quote and certainly much more knowledgeable advice. We were hoping to have the tree down before we had our house repainted, so he also promised to do the work as soon as he could.

John and his crew showed soon after; just like they promised. They had the tree down and everything cleaned up in very short order.

Before moving to Alberta, I had a lot of my own experience working with trees, back in Ontario, so I can certainly appreciate what’s involved. So it was a real pleasure to be able to sit back and watch John and his crew do the work for me.

They did everything we asked, for a very fair price, and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone.
