I am able to write this review because my 5 month old is sleeping siundly in her crib, and both of my hands (and my time!) are free. Just a few short weeks ago we were nap trapped every single day, without a proper sleep schedule, and unpredictable nights. Kelsey’s guidance helped us get to a place of full night sleep (for all of us!), long restful naps, and a routine that makes our days feel so much more organized and breezy. Kelsey is experienced, confident, available, and she insist that you trust yourself and your baby in the process. She leaves room for instinct which was very important for us. My husband and I are so thankful to her for the two weeks we spent together, and especially feel it as we have a quiet coffee together, or take a nap ourselves while our little one sleeps. Game changer, 100%.

I was very happy with West Coast Sleep Consulting for getting bedtimes on track with our 3.5 year old! The sleep plan was tailored to his personality and we had results right away - it didn't even take the full 14 days, we saw major improvements within a week. Thanks for helping all of us have calmer, more enjoyable evenings!

We recently worked with Kelsey on a sleep plan for our 5 month old son. Kelsey was wonderful to work with. She was very attentive to our needs, quick to support through email, and made it easy to schedule our calls with her. She always had an answer or insight into all of our questions. It was helpful to be reassure that certain things where normal and may just take time. I know with certainty this was not something my wife and I would of been able to do on our own!

When we started our son was nursing to sleep most of the time, naps in the stroller or carrier, and getting about 8H per night. By the end of our two weeks he now sleeps 12H at night, takes almost all his naps in his crib, and hasn't used his soother in over a month. It has brought structure into our schedule and freedom to get stuff done during his nap periods.

I know lots of parents may be nervous about hearing their baby cry (we were!), however the tools we were provided helped us understand the normalcy of it, and also helped us feel like we were still supporting his needs and comforting him during those harder nights/naps.

10/10 recommend for anyone looking for some guidance/structure!

Thank you Kelsey!

We started working with Crystal when my baby was 5.5months old. Before starting the program every nap was either a contact nap or a stroller/car nap. We dreaded nights as they were spent putting him to sleep for hours (rocking, bouncing & feeding) and then co sleeping with constant waking to nurse for comfort. I was scared to sleep train but I was also scared our family (especially our baby) would never get any sleep. During our initial phone call Crystal eased my worries about sleep training and seemed confident my family could figure out sleep. She set up a plan for us to follow that ensured our babies needs were being met. We were comforting him the entire time but the difference was we were no longer comforting him by being sleep props. Crystal was quick to respond to our emails and send over helpful resources when applicable. She encouraged us throughout the entire process. My baby is getting more sleep then ever before and he is so happy and cuddly now. We have an amazing bedtime routine and instead crying through it he laughs, smiles and snuggles. Thank you Crystal!!!

I went into the process very hopeful and confident in my consultant’s guidance. We were able to make *some* progress fairly quickly, which I was pleased with, but I went against my better judgement when it came to advice regarding dropping night feeds. I personally felt it was presented to me as an all-or-nothing approach, so I went with it.

I struggle to understand a scenario where it’s justifiable for your baby to cry for 2+ hours, multiple nights in a row. Check-ins or not. Things should have been reevaluated earlier on as it was clear my baby was not taking to the change. I don’t believe my baby was ‘tough’ I think she was just hungry.

I understand Kelsey has helped countless families but I personally found her approach to be clinical which was not compatible with my needs while in a fragile and sleep-deprived state. The plan was generic and follow up interactions were minimal unless I had a question. Pretty easy $700 bucks.

I gave it an honest shot and followed her advice almost to a tee, but it turned out to be a very distressing experience for both me and my baby. Thankfully my benefits covered the cost so I cut my losses and pulled out, otherwise what an even more difficult and stressful position that would have been. I am also fortunate my supply didn’t take a hit as a result of attempting to night wean my 6 month old before she was ready.

My advice to parents considering this journey is to know what your limits are before you go into it and hold firm to them. Don’t be so desperate for results that you abandon judgement. And remember your baby is not a project or something to be fixed.

We worked with Sarah with our little one and we are so happy we did! I was feeling overwhelmed by the information and opinions online that I did want to have that assessment and plan made specifically for us. Sarah provided a lot of resources and support with calls, emails, and comments on our progress during our two weeks of sleep training and I am so glad we did it! Would highly recommend!

Our 10 month old baby cried for a total of 30 hours in a 16 days program and we did not achieve our main goal of independent naps for our baby.

When we had our first consultation we set up our goals aiming to improve naps. We asked the consultant what would be the worst case scenario for the training and she mentioned than the most crying expected was the first 3-4 days but this information was far from what we experienced:
- Our baby cried for a total of 30 hours in the 16 days program
- The first 2-3 days our baby was sad, not eating well and very fuzzy all the time

This program is based in getting your baby extremally exhausted, we followed most of their instructions, but we did not accept the latest when they asked us to make our baby sleep just one nap (that it was of 45 minutes maximum) in a full day of 11 hours after having really bad days. Before the program ended we requested them to forget about nap training and focus just at night time, but they did not accepted it. It seems like they don't know how to customize for babies' needs when things dont go well.

The consultant was not providing enough guidance, even knowing that this program can cause a lot of stress for all the family and changes to the program might be needed all the time

It is worth to mention that we achieved our baby to sleep the whole night. However, if I went back in time, I would not do sleep training with this company for all the stress my baby and I had to have

We were nervous to start sleep training with our 4 month old but it has been one of the best decisions we have made! With Melanie’s help, our baby now gets a better sleep which helps him develop and recharge and we as his parents also gey the sleep we need to be the best versions of ourself that we can for our little one. Our babe adapted so quickly thanks to this program, and we always felt supported. We were able to come
up with a plan that we felt comfortable with and that was best for our lifestyle and parenting style. Our babe wakes up happy and well rested which we are so grateful for. Thank you again!!
