I lived in my own house for 24 years, downsizing recently back to an apartment in preparation for senior years and more ease of budgeting, maintenance, etc. One thing I've really enjoyed is having some sort of support staff available 24/7, whether it be the office themselves, security, maintenance, the app messaging or more. I can have a question and have it answered within 24 hours max.

What I'm appreciative of recently, however, is noting every weekday that, no matter what the cleanliness or maintenance issue is in the public sector of the site (hallways, sidewalks, parking lot, grass sectioned grounds, doors, windows, laundry room or more), the cleaning and/or maintenance staff have it cleaned, shoveled, wiped down, vacuumed, sanitized, picked up after, repaired or more within the next business day. This is an incredible luxury and relief after having to find our own time, energy, finances or more to do the same in one's own home for a quarter century.

If I see someone passerby has tossed a pop can on the grounds, maintenance has it picked up next day. If it's snowed or we've had freezing rain, maintenance has the walls shoveled and/or salted by morning. If someone's walked through the building and their child has dropped cheesies or nachos along the hall (I'm a germaphob so won't touch myself and understand kids are kids and life happens so don't judge but also won't pick up on my own unless I have gloves and a waste bag) ... cleaning staff have it picked up, vacuumed and polished up again next day.

Because I'm a germaphob, even though I don't touch or use railings, I noticed they're wiped down and sills and windows polished back up regularly.

The laundry room is immaculate always.

It's just been a joy to see their regular and daily efforts. Their work does not go unnoticed, especially by a recent homeowner who did it ourselves for a couple decades. Just the daily things take so much time, let alone the fixes or different daily extras. It's an absolute treat and I'm enjoying their dedication and work ethic personalities. Thank you.
