I would love to leave negative star for the work they are doing, but one star is the minimum unfortunately.
Had a deal with Victoria Heyworth, she wasted over a week of my time ignored my phone calls and emails. When I called the office and asked that anyone else could finalize my quote they said just this person, but she didn’t get back to me…
Ohh sorry we’ll live her a note that this is urgent, but after a week it’s still no answers….

I was contacted by Kaylee Unrau from Western Financial Group regarding an outstanding balance of $152 to pay for an 11-day coverage period.

I felt blatantly lied to when the numbers were manipulated to reflect the final balance charge.
My reply was: if you cannot explain what the charge is made of, then I cannot pay it. Kaylee claimed that the outstanding coverage balance is based on $13.81 per day for 11 days, totaling $152.

Even the laziest kid in school can calculate how much the whole year’s coverage would be:
365×13.81=5040$!!!
Our policy, however, is $1374.00!
Additionally, she threatened me with collections, stating that our credit score would be affected .

We contacted another advisor from Western Financial Group and explained the situation, referring to the numbers provided by Ms. Kaylee Unrau.

He immediately explained that it was all wrong and that the $152 was derived from 11% of the policy that we had to pay when canceling the agreement.

This made complete sense now, and we gladly paid the bill on the spot.

Takeaways from our “adventure”:

Not all members of a company are the same, and some need to be fired immediately for displaying unprofessional behavior.
Others can do their job exceptionally well.
In conclusion: It took us four phone calls to talk with four people, and we were treated disrespectfully twice for asking questions. Finally, it took one person who knew what they were doing to solve this mystery immediately!

Beware! To my experience, the worst experience with an insurance claim is with western. A simple windshield replacement claim is in limbo for more than a month and I haven't heard anything back from them. I have called the broker and western claim department; no one knows anything. Actually no one knows where is my claim, so submitted claim multiple times. Still nothing. No one ever calls me back or provide me with any update. I would give 0 star if I could. If you want to pay your premium and never receive the service when you need it, go with them. Otherwise save your money and headache and go with a different provider.

High rates, unprofessional service

Got my dirtbike insured through them. Paid for the whole year of basic liability in full. Out the gate they charged what i think are pretty high rates for an off-road vehicle (not street legal, never sees the road, rarely driven) $226 per year. I disclosed all prior driving offences i could remember in the last three years on my record.

The lady (Marla) was nice and i didn't want to shop around further, so i bit the bullet. Then after starting policy in April they have already turned around and are asking for an additional $50 for "undisclosed offensives" Found on my abstract. They emailed me this not even a week ago (may 4th 2022) and yesterday i received an aggressive (Motor Cycle Insurance - Cancellation Notice) from Lisa. Not even a week and this is there way of bullying me into the $50 charge with little to no explanation what the charge is for.

Also they will not refund you for your policy if you try to cancel it, even though ive paid for the year of coverage and used only two months of it. They give you a run around about fees and stuff and how it is not possible

Not great, they preach better service because they are local, but they are the same as the big companies. When the year is up i am moving without a doubt.
