We came to our appointment with printed forms, but they turned us away. They changed their system to accept only online applications, but that was done AFTER we made our appointment! This means that we have to travel back to Istanbul again with a newborn baby to obtain the birth certificate and passport. Completely unacceptable!

Don’t bother. I’m a US citizen with questions about getting my special interest lover a friend and family visa. We had to both come to Turkey as is the only country we were both able to Travel safely to. Or obtain Visas. He is from one of the Arab countries under high travel alert. I tried calling (even the emergency number as instructed by the guard at the gate) and no actual official has spoken with me. My questions are not answered online, and the information available online was not accurate—ie the instructions.

Great first time experience! I liked it more since we had a amazing priority as a US citizen to get helped with our needs. One thing that US citizens need to know is that when you get inside passed the security, you need to show your US passport to the other employees so they can take you in without staying in line to get it!

Çok yoğunlar, aşırı derecede bir talep söz konusu ancak herkes özveri ile çalışıyor. Randevu vaktinizden 15-20dk önce sırada olmaya çalışın. Randevu saatlerini anons ederek sizi içeri alıyorlar. Araba anahtarı ve belgeleriniz haricinde hiçbirşey götürmeyin.( çanta, telefon, akıllı saat vs. kabul edilmiyor. ) Konsolosluk önünde emanetçiler var, eşyalarınızı oraya bırakabilirsiniz. 50metre ileride aracınız için vale hizmeti var 100TL. Sabahın erken saatlerinde bile kahvaltı edebileceğiniz, çay ve kahve içebileceğiniz kafeler mevcut. Vize basım süreci 6-10 haftayı bulabiliyor.
