Second towing incident: December 19th, 2024
Had another crazy incident where my car that was seemingly in perfect condition broke down on the side of the highway, and Dan was able to pick me up within 20 minutes even though AMA told me that it was going to be like a 90 minute wait. Absolutely incredible service, will continue to recommend these guys to everyone!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent purchase experience my colleague had with the Billy Goat Aerator and Power Rake from your company. The issues began with a significant delay in delivery, arriving two weeks later than promised by Guss. Upon arrival, the equipment was delivered in crate form, unassembled, and improperly adjusted or greased for that matter.

The power rake has required three belt replacements despite being used on fewer than 30 properties. When I initially contacted Guss regarding these issues, he was dismissive and unhelpful, treating me as if I were inexperienced and uninformed. Unfortunately, after sending the machines back for repairs twice, the problems have only worsened. The aerator now has excessive tension on the drive gear, making it nearly impossible to operate without considerable discomfort.

Moreover, I was informed by the main supplier, Arnes, that the machines should never have been delivered in crate form. This negligence has resulted in numerous operational issues, yet we have been unfairly charged for all repair costs. It is clear that proper assembly and adjustments were not performed before delivery, as evidenced by the permanent marker notes indicating "grease" on our machines—a task that should have been completed prior to pickup.

The ongoing issues with these machines have severely impacted our business, resulting in over $2,500 in refunds for spring cleanups and an initial investment of over $9,000 for equipment that fails to meet basic operational standards.

In light of these experiences, I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this business. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and proper service has been profoundly disappointing and frustrating.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. These guys are scam artists. Took over a week to replace an alternator on a 1990 Honda Civic after they ordered the wrong part. No communication unless you pry it from them. What should have been a simple job cost $600. Don’t waste your money here.

I called trying to buy ego brand electric tools. The guy in the SALES department said he couldn’t help me and the guy who handles that just went on a tow call. Left my name and number, never got a call back, and spent $2000 at lowes. Tried calling again today, got the same guy and the same story. If he isn’t willing to have a quick look on the shelf, I guess it’s pretty clear they don’t want my business. Will continue going to Lowes for all my ego brand tools, as they’re always happy to help and answer questions.

I got the opportunity for Butte Motors to fix a hole in my tire through Toyota Roadside Assistance. They were absolutely amazing in fixing my tire and showing how to fix it if it happens again. I would highly recommend Butte Motors for helping when in need to fix something on a vehicle!

Replaced the carburetor on my lawn tractor a couple years ago.(800$) Noticed an abundance of oil leaking out of the carb as the employees were loading it. Got it home and it worked fine the first cut. 2nd time i went to use it, it wouldn't start again( same issue the carb was supposed to fix). Jiggled some wires and found an old connection to the coil rotted and loose, followed the same wire back and found an old bare patch in the wire shorting out on the block. I phoned and was blown off. I was so disgusted i parked the tractor in my shed and bought another 1.
The reason for the late review is I'm cleaning out my shed and need to do something with the mower.
