I have been a tenant at Tilt Property residence in Grande Prairie, for four months, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory due to ongoing maintenance issues that have not been fully resolved in a timely manner.

One of the most significant concerns has been recurring flooding, which has not only caused damage to the living space but has also led to the presence of black mold. This poses a serious health risk to all residents in the home, yet proper remediation has not been conducted to fully address the issue. Despite multiple maintenance requests, only temporary or partial fixes have been provided, leaving the problems to persist.

Additionally, both priority repairs and secondary maintenance concerns have been handled inefficiently, often taking excessive time to be addressed or remaining unresolved altogether. As a result, I have had to live in a state of disarray, losing access to essential areas of my home. In some instances, I have even had to seek alternative accommodations while still being required to pay full rent.

A rental property should provide a safe, habitable, and well-maintained living environment. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. Until management takes these issues seriously and commits to resolving them properly, I cannot recommend this property to future tenants.

**edit in response to reply about our supposed act of God. After talking to the neighbour in the unit next to us this unit struggles with keeping tenants and has an issue with flooding. Not one, but multiple maintenance guys have informed us that this has happened prior, for similar reasons. as well as some of the other recurring maintenance. And it’s noted that the most recent flood entry point has botched prior repairs pointing to the fact that it was previously aware of by management.

Being open, honest and transparent is a true act of God and only builds strong foundations of trust between both parties.

I moved my 6 units from Rental Advisors to Tilt. I wish I started with Tilt back in October. 4 of my 6 units had been vacant for over 5 months. I reached out to Tilt at 6pm and Jared (the owner) sent me a text by 630. Their response times have been great. Jared and his team have been nothing short of amazing. They got all my units rented within 30 days. Their pricing is good and fair. Their service is outstanding. Highly highly recommended Jared and the Tilt team.

My experience with this company was terrible. They only care about themselves and have no interest in helping tenants. They are completely inflexible.

A company that claims to be reputable should prioritize good customer service. A serious company must listen to its clients, understand different situations, and be flexible. That is not the case with them. If something doesn’t benefit them, then it’s your problem!

On top of that, their staff is unprepared to deal with tenants.

This was the worst rental company I have ever used. I wouldn’t recommend this experience to anyone. Thankfully, my contract has ended, and this was the first and last time I rented a property from them.

My rating for them, on a scale from 0 to 5 stars, is -2.

Continuing after YOUR FALSE RESPONSE. It’s clear how unprepared you all are. You persist with a completely false and baseless accusation about my dog. If you have an agent who doesn’t like dogs, she is in the wrong profession and should work only in an internal role.

If you claim that my dog is aggressive, please do the following: ask Nick from maintenance, ask Agent Angela who conducted the move-out inspection, ask Agent Crystal who showed the property to potential tenants, and ask the agent who did the move-in inspection when we arrived. They all loved our dog and even played with her. If you have a single agent who dislikes animals, you should reconsider and reassign her to a different department. In fact, we even have a video where one of the agents talks about how gentle our dog is.

Our dog is a Bernese Mountain Dog. If you have any knowledge about dogs (I think you don't), you should know how lovely, friendly, and gentle this breed is.

And another thing: our issue with you is not just about the dog—this situation was merely the tipping point among several other instances where you have shown a complete lack of concern for tenants. As long as things work for you, to hell with the tenants—that’s the attitude you’ve demonstrated. You have never been flexible about anything.

I have been a renter with Tilt since August 30, 2024 and I have to say that so far I am so impressed. My house was beautiful when I moved in to it. Bright and clean. And when I need something fixed it's so easy to go online and submit a service request. And when I do, the response time is lightning speed and the issue is fixed fast. If you're looking for a place to rent, and you come across a property that's managed by Tilt, you'll know you're in good hands. Highly recommend!!

We rented our unit since 2020 and still renting here now. Meaning we have been living here for almost 5 years. Yes we do have some problems but was resolved right away and Tilt has been very responsive. And we also was hit hard Covid time and they have been very understanding to our situation that time. Tilt and Bobbie has been very good to us and hoping that they will work on making affordable rents with this changing times.
