Ian was very informative and addressed all of my computer concerns and questions. If I have any future computer problems he's the one I'll call. I left a voicemails at a few different computer shops and never heard back.

You won't find a more professional owner. Iaian, Whom I've known since he first opened Isp, has been instrumental to all my computer needs since. He has no problem explaining hardware specs and cost effectiveness. Most recently as of a few weeks ago. I went in for a new laptop. And here is where you see a level of professionalism and dedication to his customers that you will find nowhere else. He straight up told me that bestbuy was having a sale on laptops and that I could get one there much more powerful and much cheaper than he currently could even directly from the manufacturer. I didn't have to ask about it, Iaian told me this in response to me coming in to start talking about a laptop. AAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDD He also agreed without hesitation to look at links to laptops I was looking at to advise me on their hardware capabilities VS price! AND HE DID! He saved me a little over $500. I gave him the new machine to get it set up the way I wanted it with a different operating system and I am perfectly pleased, as always, with his work.

Same experience as a lot of other reviewers. Choose this business due to positive word of mouth. Not my experience.

Tried to get a new battery for my laptop. Initially sent a email that went unanswered. Called a few days later and was told it would be 5-7 business days for the new battery to arrive. Followed up after 2 weeks and was told his systems needed a reboot and he would call me back (he didn’t). Called 2 days later and was told he wasn’t at the store but remembered me and would call me back (he didn’t). I left a message 5 weeks after the initial conversation asking for a call back within 2 days or I would be taking my laptop elsewhere. I’ve been ghosted. Wasted a month trying to support a local business.

Taking our laptop here to get fixed was the most stressful and frustrating experience we have ever had. ISP had our laptop for two MONTHS and never ended up fixing it. When we called to get an update, no one would answer. Or we would be told someone would call us back and we'd never get a call back. At one point, they told us they had taken our laptop to be serviced by "some Chinese guys" in Edmonton. Excuse me?! Certainly didn't appreciate them taking our laptop to another business without even asking for our permission or notifying us. When we actually did get to talk to Iain to get an update, the story was constantly changing about what was happening (waiting for parts, waiting on the aforementioned "Chinese guys", Covid and the supply chain...). And then when we asked to just have the laptop back to have it fixed elsewhere, it was "oh so much has happened since we last talked..." blah blah blah your laptop can't be fixed.

We took it here based off the mostly-positive reviews and that is the reason for our review... felt like we needed to be honest about our experience with ISP and warn others. Apologies to the owners - I understand you're trying to run a business but we had a really terrible experience with you guys.

Brought my daughters chrome book there to see if it could be fixed , was told less than likely as the parts would cost close to the cost of the device , I asked if he could take a look and confirm if this was in fact the case , left my name and number , never received a call back , I called with no answer, when asked if he knew where I could recycle the product and quickly answered he would take it off my hands (obviously there is money in some of the hardware). Feeling like I was ripped off , didn’t even try to repair my daughters Chromebook or offer to give it back ,probably already parted out and profited off the hardware.

I had called to describe my issue and Ian had provided me with a plethora and options before resorting to selling me anything or suggesting any labour whatsoever. This place is provided a a great and knowledgeable experience without constant sales tactics being pushed at me.

I’ve been going to ISP Computers for years. I’ve had dead hard-drives, broken motherboards, cracked screens, and corrupted registries; all of these problems have always been solved to my satisfaction. Ian always shoots straight and does a good job at a reasonable price. It’s honestly refreshing to deal with a business that’s more interested in developing a long-lasting relationship rather than trying to make a quick buck. ISP is the poster child for a well-run local business. If you ever have computer needs, ISP is the place to go.
