Reception is terrible. Everytime I call I am placed on hold for at least 6-10 mins, when I only need 2 mins of their time usually. Dr Darwish is a good dr despite the poor reception. Also be careful, they will send bills for forums you weren’t aware you had to pay for.

Had to go to emergany in winkler and they ended up with my results and it took months just to be able to speak with the doctor only to be told I had to have an appointment and then they didn't want to make an appointment with me cause I wasn't the patient of the but I only need to see said doctor once to fill out a form and was never told I had to pay for said form and I had never had to do this before only to be told at my appointment that it was gonna cost 100$ to have the form signed and sent. That pussed me off and the staff on top was extremely rude to me and did not treat me nice at all

If I could give this clinic no stars I would. Reviews say it all folks. I kid you not, probably the worst clinic I have ever seen and experienced in my entire life. As someone who is fairly new in Altona my friends, family and even co-workers!! advised not to go to this clinic. Receptionist was unprofessional, even when booking the appointment - sounded like it was inconvenience to do their role. I honestly don't know how Dr. Abbas Darwish still has his license to practice - man was flying off the walls( At one point, I was examining his body behavior's and he seems to be high on caffeine or some kind of drug - couldn't sit or stand still. Like he had high case of jitters) not really listening to what my concerns were and giving me answers I have already read on GOOGLE. Spam clicking on the computer while murmuring under his mask make up a poor statement on my overall "good" health and dismissively disregarding what my actual concerns are. Overall no feedback or follow-up. I wish upon no one to ever experience what I have experienced at this clinic. Shame on y'all. How insulting this is to a town with a population of 5k mind you that majority of the people are seniors and this is the kind of circus clinic they have running? I am convinced that Canada's health care is deteriorating. I advise Altonians to plan the trip to Winkler or even Winnipeg and find higher "professional" care rather than wasting a millisecond at this one.

I just had the worst experience ever with a doctor. I came in because I’ve had major sleeping problems for a long time. I’ve lost a job over my sleep. I do have pills for anxiety and I’ve got a appointment for a psychiatrist. But I needed something now. he’s given me some pills in the past and it did absolutely nothing. I brought that up and he just laughed at me and said then why would you want sleeping pills? He said to me. What kind of question is that? So unprofessional couldn’t believe it. I also told him that I’m working out and getting in shape but it’s hard because of the lack of sleep but he didn’t care. He told me “it’s not good staying home all day” “you should get a job” it’s like he didn’t even listen to me. I’m hoping he sees this. Dr. Basta

Called them in January about a lower back issue ( refereed by my physiotherapist) and they said next available appointment to see my doctor would be in March. 2 months. Really? Or I could talk to him on the phone in February. 4 weeks from now. Front staff are friendly though.

If there's one thing I hate the most, it's when the receptionist says "nope, we're booked solid." Then provide no alternatives. Like, how inhospitable for a receptionist AT A DOCTORS CLINIC. Thanks for nothing.

A complete waste of time , the Doctor did not look like or act like a doctor at all Recommend Ice cream for my 1 year old boy that has a really bad sore throat what a joke Altona clinic then you wonder why nobody supports you....
