Hi, just writing this simply because I hope MCO can consider offering the financial aid.

A couple days ago, I signed up for the mentorship via youtube. I got an email with the arrangement of the 1 on 1 meeting. Since I have never felt so passionate for a career like consulting, I was looking for guidance for more than 3 months already.

However, the call was ended within 5 minutes. I was asked if i am willing to pay 4 digits amount of US dollars for the mentorship. Also, I was asked if I would like to pay how much for the program if I can afford. The price for the course was relatively high in comparison to other online course.

I understand that the mentorship has its value, as the professional opinions and advices are top tiers. I asked if there's any financial aid possible. Unfortunately, the advisor during the call simply gave me a robotic answer, which didn't sound like the program is really offering for people who would like to pursue a career in consulting.

To be frank, waiting for three days reading carefully for 6+ marketing emails and more than 10+ articles, it's a pity that I ended up with a sales call for less than 5 minutes.

Nevertheless, as a customer, I couldn't afford this course, this isn't the problem of MCO. I'm still extremely thankful for Davis on youtube. They really gave me a glimpse of hope to keep on pursuing a career in consulting.

I will still try my best to keep on working my way to consulting. Thank you.

Working with Davis and MCO has been an absolute pleasure. They are some of the most detail oriented people I have ever worked with. That curiosity/investigative nature is an asset to anyone who works with them. I firmly believe they can identify and address issues that few other people can. Other companies do much more surface-level analysis. These guys really dig deep into the situation.

Used their “get the interview” service. Needless to say, I did not get the interview based on the 2 star review. I want to be as fair as possible so that others who may be considering this have an accurate depiction of the service, or at least my experience with them.
I feel somewhat conned, the service I used costed about 700$, in return I received a PowerPoint that was voiced over by the founder Davis. The slideshow did have some valuable information while a lot of it was also fairly common sense or easily discovered online through minimal research. But the presentation I’d say was fair.
The issue arises in the fact that that is all I ever received. I never got a call or any counseling to get the interview. My “advisor” switched several times and when I tried to schedule a call they regularly were not available, I’d reach out again and they’d route me to someone else. I would not recommend the service. If you’re someone these firms would otherwise hire you don’t need this service.

Davis shared with us insights he accumulated from helping students break into management consulting.
