First, we'd like to comment of the front office and other office staff. We were greeted by friendly and helpful people who answered our initial questions and made suggests as we were in our search for a Professional Engineer. They also called me back to with helpful additional information that I could use in our search.

Bradley Huxol came to our house and spent a good hour with us. He analyzed the structural damage and walked us through what we would need to have done and made many helpful suggestions. Mr. Huxol answered and addressed many of our concerns and questions we had about our structural problems. And I know when he left I was much more informed and no longer in a panic mode.

The next day, Mr. Huxol prepared a detailed document about his visit and findings. We will use this document as we work with the contractors to resolve our problems.

Thank you Mr. Huxol for your knowledge, your professionalism, and your ability to discuss the situation and answer questions, often in a non technical manner; kind of like a brother just talking to me. It put us at ease and we knew there was a way to fix our problem.

Bradley Huxol came to our house on short notice and was very professional. We had 3 foundation companies saying we need piering, and we were confused by the various quotes. Bradley said we did not need piering but need grading work done. This will save us between $8k-$10k. What a relief! We are so glad we called him and would definitely recommend him to others.

Our house has some settling issues with the garage and two attached rooms on concrete slabs. I contacted 3 foundation companies for bids. After 2 companies gave me bids I was so confused on what they were proposing and on the prices they were quoting, I turned to Google to try to take a crash course on piering and foundation repair. The advice I found on Google was even more confusing except for one recurring suggestion: Hire an independent Professional Engineer (PE) to evaluate the structural problems in the home to advise me on the best way to fix the problems with the foundation. I did another Google search for local companies doing such an evaluation and came across Everstead which had great reviews and history. I hired them to help me decide how to fix our issues. Jeremiah, my PE, was terrific! He measured settling all throughout the house, suggested the best solutions to fix the problems I had with three areas of the house, and was extremely patient with my questions and answered all in a way I could understand. His evaluation visit was about 3 hours long. After he left I had a plan of action that I took back to the foundation contractors to revise their bids by adding some things and taking away some things. The bottom line is Jeremiah saved me a lot of money on work not necessary at this time, on things that weren't a priority now but might be in the future, and on the best methods to fix our various issues. Jeremiah also answered several questions on several occasions after talking to my three companies about his recommendations. That REALLY helped because one company balked on some of his suggestions and another had different approaches that didn’t quite match his approaches. His evaluation and answers to my questions after getting feedback on his evaluations from my selected companies helped me decide on which company to select, not by name, but by that company’s solution which more closely matched his suggestions. I highly recommend getting a PE and I highly recommend Everstead!!!!! P.S. –Jeremiah was totally an independent advisor to me. He had heard of the companies but never gave me an opinion on them as a company or which to choose. He only provided a PE’s advice on the best way to fix our problems.”

Everstead was very accomodating of my schedule and needs. The initial phone call went well with a clear description of my options. Chris showed up on time and gave me a courtesy call on his way. He carefully and professionally addressed all my questions and concerns, taking the time to educate me and making sure I understood. He double-checked something I was unsure of and provided my deliverable earlier than promised. He even took the time to help me with a weird fitting I was trying to get out of a wall before he left. Absolutely would recommend and would definitely use again. Can't really comment on price competitiveness, because i struggled to get comparable quotes, but it was definitely worth the price I paid to me.

I called them they set up a time to come to my home and look at my project. Josh showed up on time talked about my wants and needs.
I was doing a total remodel on my home plus building a new breezeway and detached garage. Josh gave me great ideas and told me a price to engineer my plans.
He told me 2 weeks and he would have it completed. I hired him. The price for the work was very reasonable. The work was great.
