I've hired ABM Environmental Inc. last year for air quality testing in Brentwood in an old 70s building. My wife and I had breathing issues and physical reactions to air in our bathroom and master bedroom which we eventually needed to vacate to preserve pur health. Brian was very pleasant and did all the tests, but couldn't detect the issue with the air. I paid $600 for the tests, and expected to discover the issue, hence the three stars. We ended moving out since, and now we can breathe.

10/10 Brian is extremely knowledgable on mold: a subject with a lot of conflicting information. He explained some principles that even a month of research had not clarified (reading studies, books written by doctors, horror stories from people that have become experts by necessity, remediation company recommendations, etc), which helps me understand steps I can take in remediation. Despite me being currently unable to book ABM's services (which I believe would be truly worth it), he patiently and kindly answered my questions for 25 minutes and even invited me to follow up with him if I had further questions. It's clear that this is not a company out to gouge you or get in and out with the bare minimum. This is a company that truly cares, and takes pride in their work.

After discovering a mould problem in my attic, I contacted Brian, and he got back to me that evening. He was able to come to my house the next day, completed a detailed diagnostic report with photos, and quoted a fair price to remediate. He is personable and took his time discussing our situation. Brian came the very next day to complete the remediation, and did an excellent job, while we were all home. He also left our home clean. I would highly recommend him to any home owner with a mould problem.

I want to both thank and endorse Brian at ABM for his fair and trust worthy assessment of my concerns about mold via their free phone consult as offered on their website. I contacted them just prior to giving birth and bringing home my twins to a new rental home after selling ours. From the moment we moved in I had awful respiratory issues and I was terrified the charming but older home had hidden mold — especially when I found suspicious looking discolouration in a certain part of the home and my mama bear hormones went crazy with alarm. He was happy to hear me out and evaluate a handful of photographs I sent via email. Alternatively, my husband was very concerned that a company like his would prioritize making a sale of their investigation services and was not keen for my anxieties to search professional help he did not think was necessary. However Brian was quick to instead alleviate my immediate fears and assure me that his pro opinion was that it was a very low-risk and likelihood that the questionable images I sent him were related to mold. (With the disclaimer that of course without an official inspection there was no guarantee.) I was able to move past my anxieties thanks to this relatively quick email conversation with Brian and low and behold all my respiratory issues cleared up within days of giving birth after a month of debilitating symptoms! (Pregnancy is weird!!) I recommend contacting this company if you want an honest company who puts clients first and not sales. Thanks again, Brian.

Brian from ABM came in did his walk through, testing and sampling in an efficient and timely manner. We received a detailed report of his findings a few days later and ABM recommendations on how to fix our situation.
