Being someone who's rented in the city for years. Urchin properties is by far the best company I've dealt with. Friendly, efficient and attentive. Visiting their office is always a fun experience and their property mangers are great. The buildings themselves (40 Rose Street) are well maintained, cleaned and very safe. I would highly recommend renting from them to anyone. 5 stars

We have lived in this building 22 High Street for 10 years. During that time the original owner made very few upgrades or repairs to the building and sold it a couple of years ago.
Since Urchin Property Management took over the care of the building just after the beginning of this year, there has been many improvements and upgrades.
They are prompt with maintenance issues and any concerns we have had. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Rented an apartment with this company for several years now. Have had a couple of low key emergencies that were dealt with swiftly by management (equipment not working, leaking water, etc). Response for minor repairs has historically been slower, but seems to be improving. Building is secure, laundry is card operated (a star is lost because the number of washer/dryers has decreased with the switch to card from coin), and interactions with staff has always been pleasant. I would recommend renting from this company if able to.

Grateful for my time spent with this rental company. kept their properties clean and well maintained. They were always honest with me and dealt with things promptly and properly. One of the best rental places in the city in my opinion as far as landlords go.

I have been in the care of Ursula, Elena, Holly, Elizabeth, Manfred et al now for some 16 years or so. While the staff may change from time to time, the service never fails. If it's broke, they fix it. If it's cold, the make heat. If it's leaking, they seal it. They put up with my incessant whining and still treat me with respect and a sense of humour. I ain't leaving here till they carry me away in a BOX. If you're even thinking about it, take'em out for a test drive. Sure, you will hear negative comments.or reviews... Just not from ME.. Thanks guys for making me feel important ❤️.

Any property management company will have its ups and downs with tenants, but throughout my 3 year experience with Urchin, they have always attempted to correct any down to the best of their ability. I appreciate dealing with them, and luckily do not have to do it too much as things run smoothly nearly all the time.

One thing that isn't clear to anyone just renting from them, is what they do for the neighborhood. They are a big part of improving downtown Dartmouth, and I am fortunate enough to live here in an up and coming time, and now realize they are a big part of that.
