Nice spacious area to have a meal. Portions were large but the taste was just so so. Food took a long time to come out even though it was about 20% occupied.
Cool atmosphere and free parking. WiFi was very very slow.

Chicken wings and the charcuterie boards are fantastic. I love getting a drink and a snack while curling up by the fireplace with read, with a view of the mountains.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Service is usually very attentive. Can’t beat the atmosphere.

We wanted to experience the Jasper Park Lodge and enjoy the view from the hotel. So we came for lunch as we can’t afford to stay. Lol. While the grounds are rustic and cool to walk around, I found the dining area a bit tired and worn. The food was adequate but definitely not worth how expensive it was. And we had to ask to be moved to the window so we could even see the view (and it was not busy).

While we love coming to the Fairmont to treat ourselves from time to time, it feels like we're paying for the view while the service and food quality take a backseat.

The service is adequate like most hotels and restaurants in Jasper but the overall quality at the Fairmont has really taken a nosedive.

For example, a simple dinner of burgers, sandwiches, fries and mac n cheese for 2 adults and 2 young children shouldn't' cost $100, especially when the kids eat free from the kids menu, which is great don't get me wrong but they claw that cost back and more with the meals the adults have. $32 for the bear burger!! It was the most expensive and depressing burger I've ever had. Take a look at my photos and try to take a guess which one is the bear burger and which is the kids burger. They are almost identical and taste the same. You have to do better if you want to charge $32 for a single cheeseburger.

The only thing that stands out to me is the price you pay in relation to what's received. It doesn't really feel like a treat anymore.

Been here a couple of times, stars reflect a combination of visits, not our recent one. Ceasar was incredible, best garnishes I’ve seen on one. Service was great, Hunter was fast and polite. Unfortunately, one of the worst poutines I’ve had. The brisket was good, but there was little to no gravy, which was bland, and the fries were cold and also bland. Might be good to tourists, but was not to me. Overall, our latest visit was much better than past experiences, where the service was subpar and slow, thanks to Hunter!

Food is in good quality, atmosphere is great. The staff needs more training. In my case, she did not inform us that there was no Taco bread for Taco and bring only fried fish. It was surprise. The burger was overcooked.
