Century Ridge Property:

My Family and I have lived at Century Ridge for about 6 years and honestly the Property Manager has been amazing throughout the years. The facility is always clean, side walks and walk ways are always clean during the winter. Notices on upcoming maintenance are posted in visible areas and also delivered at your door step. They are always accessible and helpful.

Our season in Century Ridge has ended, else we would have continued to live there.

If you’re considering living here I would recommend it. The neighbours as also friendly.

I have been a real estate agent for over 21 years and have never been more frustrated trying to obtain condominium documents in my entire career. Absolutely ridiculous service and response times. If you are thinking of engaging with them in the property management space, don’t. If you are currently managed by them then I think it is important to know how they run their business. They do not have a 2 start google rating for unjust reasons.

Laidley does not care about it's customers. My condo condition removal took an additional 4 days because they fail to check email or call back phone messages. My lawyer requested required additional documents for closing the deal on the day conditions came off 10 days ago and did not receive them until this morning after repeated calls. My lawyer says it is always like this with Laidley. So terrible.

Not sure what else to do here. My condo sale is pending. I requested condo documents, which is a condition of the sale, 10 days ago. I got a reply that they got my email request. I left a voice message with Nancy on day 3 because they had not even accepted my e-transfer yet just asking if they had received it. No response. I left another voice message with Nancy on day 8. No response and I called and left w direct message with reception yesterday on day 9 as the people may want to back out of the deal since they don't have the docs. She said she would deliver the message to Nancy personally. My etransfer still has not been accepted yet. I've owned and sold a couple of condos and it never takes this long. But to take this long while refusing to communicate with me is huge. I'm stressed, and anxious because of Laidley.

Excellent building manager, Leslie, who goes above and beyond for the tenants' needs at Gardenwood Terrace in Edmonton! I am so happy I was selected as a new tenant. Laidley Management will cover proper repairs, carpet cleaning and any maintenance to ensure your home is fitting of standards and compliance. Hooray!! 😀

I have owned a property managed by Laidley management for approximately 18 years and I have honestly been very pleased.
They have been easy to get a hold of when I need them, they have been responsive and professional.
I am currently purchasing another property managed by them and they were very quick to get me the condo documents that I needed-Nancy has been fast and efficient!

2 stars for a reason! Should be 1 stars!!

As a previous tenant at their Greenstone park location I highly advise to NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY.

Our building was first with a different leasing company and was bought out from Laidley, as soon as the new management took over rent prices and utilities increased with no consideration of the tenants already living there, no discussion of the new agreements and contracts and honestly seemed like they do not care about their tenants at all.

They lie to you upon showings and viewings about what is included with your contract, the management is greedy and money hungry and do not care about their tenants.

And the follow up from this company is absolutely terrible, whether it’s the buildings leasing management or contacting the actual corporate management team they take weeks or months to respond with little to no help and no sense of urgency.

Please do yourself a favour and find a building not owned by the company!!!

I wouldn’t refer anyone to rent in the Red Deer condo downtown! The maintenance people who run the building are controlling, cruel, hang up on conversations when you try to find out how to biz visitors into the building after moving into the building. There was nothing at all about this in their”manual “ of do’s and dont’s and information on the building.

The condo is filthy, windows weren’t cleaned in the time I rented there-just not a dwelling I would call home. Tenants I spoke to when they saw I was moving expressed their concerns about the maintenance people and told me they are planning a move.

Laidley management needs to consider getting different people who clean and are friendly and approachable and fulfill maintenance requests.
