Hotel nordique peut etre mais bien tenu et tout près du fjord dont la vue est spectaculaire. Mais la vraie merveille c'est certainement le chef Louis. Vous ne mangerez pas mieux dans le nord c'est certain... et il égale n'importe quel restau du sud aussi!|Si vous avez de la chance il vous fera son gravlax, son poulet Marengo ou sa célèbre tarte aux pacanes.

Pangnirtung n'offre pas de choix de restaurant: Poulet frit, pizza et la table de Louis.||||Quelle surprise de rencontrer un francophone dans un tel endroit, typique de plusieurs places dans le Nord... tu manges ce qui est dans ton assiette... pas de menu... pas de choix... pas de deal. tout est cher mais c'est comme ça...||||mais les papilles sont tombées en amour avec le gravlax de artic char que Louis m'a offert: un bonheur!||||je ne peux en dire plus, je n'y ai pas couché

Toujours un plaisir d'y retourner et de revoir ce cher Louis, chauffeur, gérant d'hôtel, raconteur, blagueur mais par-dessus tout, le meilleur chef cuisinier du Nord.||Les chambres sont très bien surtout depuis les rénovations, la vue de la salle à dîner est à couper le souffle.||Je voyage beaucoup dans les communautés du Nunavut et Pangnirtung est un de mes endroits préférés. Je me promet un jour d'y aller mais cette fois en vacance pour aller en excursion dans le fjord et profiter au maximum de mon séjour.||Aucune hésitation à vous recommander cet endroit si le goût de l'aventure nordique vous intéresse, le meilleur moment pour visiter est la fin juillet et début août, le fjord est libre de glace et la température aux environs de 12 C degrés soit le maximum normal pour l'été.

Just came from there and the new team is fantastic. Who knew it could get even better? Great food, not just nice, but caring staff. It is an incredible location that I would recommend to anyone.

The lodge is not a high-end hotel, but it's clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the fjord. What makes it special is the staff. Summer manager Justin and his colleagues from Pangnirtung provided good meals and some remarkable desserts to an always-changing number of guests. Once when several flights out had been cancelled due to poor weather and one flight dropped off passengers who weren't even coming to Pangnirtung, the staff and the Co-op manager did everything they could to accommodate and feed everyone. It was display of great hospitality.

Louis can be grumpy, but also really happpy. he helped me get 20 pounds of fillet turbot from his connection to the fisheries. I was happy with that. but there is a fridge and microwave in the common area where you can keep food and make it in the microwave. Very homey rooms, nothing to write home about. It's the view though, Pang is so beautiful. Only restaurant in town and it's only at one time so if you miss it your out of luck. Close to Northern, not close to any GN operations. Only place to stay. If planning summer stay, call waaaaay in advance to make sure you get a spot as it's a busy spot because of the park.

Got stuck here for a few days in March and Louis, the manager, made me feel more than welcome and right at home. The man cooks up some amazing meals and cares about his guests. The accommodations are modest but comfortable. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Janet was a super Manager and jack of all trades. Additionally she was the cook. She delivers patrons to and from the airport. She did all of the cooking for meals. They were truly excellent. I really don't know how she does it all.
