I can’t say enough good things about the South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre. When I was just starting out in Collingwood and the banks wouldn’t give me a chance, they stepped in and believed in me. They provided startup funding and the support I needed at a critical time. The team is very knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely invested in helping small businesses get off the ground. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done and would highly recommend them to anyone starting a business in the area.

I was fortunate to be accepted into the Starter Company Plus Program run through this Centre last year. I couldn't have hoped for a more supporting group to help me navigate one of my first years in business, and during a pandemic, no less! You can tell everyone at the centre is truly invested in the success of every entrepreneur they deal with. I was provided with plenty of opportunities to network and learn during my time in the 6 month program. And the support continues even now! If you're starting a business or running one and need some support you HAVE to reach out and tap into all the incredible resources this place makes available to you!

As a new business owner, i really appreciate the support and resources SBEC has to offer. I participated in the Starter Company Plus program which not only provided a little bit of financial help but also offered me invaluable access to resources, experienced advice and a fantastic mentor. Additional resources through the centre's Digital Service Squad gave me much needed support to respond to the challenges of the Covid pandemic and bring my business online from the begining. I highly recommend checking out their resources !

I have nothing bad to say about the small business enterprise center. They are SO helpful and have been there to support me with my business ideas for the past 6 years. Helping me start my own company while in university and helping along the way with guidance and mentorship on my many businesses since. After my business was put into lockdown for a second time I reached out to South Georgian Bay SBEC for some direction. Although they couldn't help me directly, Tim contacted me immediately and put me in touch with someone who could. He even called me on the weekend to help me. I am so thankful for it!
