It’s a well maintained clean place with many activities to experience, from cooling off in a lake to playing tennis to working out in the gym, they have it all. The one thing I wish they can fix is the employee’s attitudes towards children. Many times the lady working at the desk at the rec centre would give my children and I attitude when I sign in to go to the pool. But besides that this place is great.

Not for young families.

Not feeling welcome in common facilities. Kids seem to bother elder people even when they behave beautifully, and staff supporting unconditionally older people. Been twice, and both experiences have been quite unpleasant.

There is also an idiotic, brainless application of rules. Like soldiers in a war zone. if I videotaped the comments from staff and residents, that would have gone viral. So unreasonable.

Definitively not going again in common areas. Advise against renting there unless you are retired.

Have lived at Lighthouse Point for 6 years and we love it here. This is a truly unique condo complex with high quality facilities and a beautiful setting. It is well maintained, well run and there are lots of community events and social gatherings. We feel very lucky to live here.

The location is great. The facility staff are not.

The lady that works the desk to the indoor pool and Rec centre is exceptionally obnoxious unhelpful and lazy. She should find a government job.

If you are considering buying or renting here take a close look at the property management services and company that would employe someone as rude and difficult as this person is likely to have the same attitude to their customers as she has.

Stay away until she finds somewhere else to go.

Lighthouse has a lot going for it , especially the Rec centre pool save the staff that run it with a iron fist. Case in point: My husband went with two other fathers as guests of theirs to take our very young children swimming and my husband was not allowed to go in and not even allowed to sit on the side of the pool on a chair to help watch the kids (ages 4 and 7 and not strong swimmers )because they have an 8 person rule per 2bdrm condo. He had to wait outside of the Rec centre. The illogic of a rule that puts children's safety at risk is mind boggling. Also the rudeness and blind adherence to rules which in this case should have been waved , and the disrespect shown to all involved tonight was truly abhorrent and embarrassing for our hosts to say the least. Management should be questioned strongly. I would not recommend lighthouse to families. The rigidity of management is frankly ridiculous , and unfriendly to say the least. It says a lot about who may be leading the residents association too...

Marina, pools, seven tennis courts 🎾, pickleball, gym🏋️‍♂️, rec center all overlooking Georgian Bay 🌊
