I'm absolutely blown away by the exceptional work done by Building Works! From start to finish, the team exceeded my expectations. It was a long project which deserves a long review!

Scott was instrumental in getting the project off the ground. He came out for the initial estimate, provided great advice, incorporating ongoing adjustments throughout the project in tandem with expertly coordinating the crew to ensure the project was completed in a timely fashion to create optimum results! I greatly appreciated his responsive communication and availability to incorporate changes along the way!

Mark, the drywaller and painter, did a superb job finishing the ceilings and walls of my garage to perfection! Mehdi, his friendly hard working assistant! My tools will be so happy hanging from those beautifully finished and painted walls!

Hoony, a carpenter extraordinaire, who designed and constructed a workshop bench and storage shelves that are not only stunning but also incredibly functional - it's honestly nicer than my kitchen! Hoony’s attention to detail and craftsmanship are top-notch, conscientiously and meticulously, assisted by Dennis.

A real MVP was Pavlo, who led the month-long concrete and paving project with expertise and finesse. His design skills and knowledge of concrete construction and repair are truly impressive! The way he tackled the badly cracked garage floor was nothing short of magic - the concrete work and repair are flawless. The floor looks brand new! Pavlo continued to shine throughout the patio paver design and installation process, ensuring that the ground preparation and drainage were optimal to ensure a lasting and beautiful patio and walkway. He checked in with me regularly ensuring that I could make informed design decisions throughout. His leadership of the crew was exemplary!

Matt and Buk, who expertly handled the demolition work, jackhammering the outside patio concrete that was badly spalling and carting away all the debris.

Serhii, who cut clean lines of concrete and paving stones, a very dusty job before laying the new patio and walkway, including a gorgeous curved design!

Oleh’s assistance with the patio, drainage digging, and stair repair was also invaluable!

The stunning result is a testament to the hard work and skill of the crew under the direction of Pavlo!

Last but not least, I'd like to thank Marsha and Andrena in the office, who handled my many calls and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. They also coordinated invoicing and administrative tasks seamlessly.

I had some basement condensation issues and hired Building Works to complete the job. Scott (PM) was great about identifiying the issue and explaining how it needed to be fixed. Provided clear information on what needed to happen.

The crews (Baggy, Oleh and Buk / Mark, Mehdi) were awesome. They were punctual and did a fantastic job of setting up containment, demolition, finishing and cleaning up after everything was completed.

We recently had a patio door installed by this amazing team, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From the moment they arrived they were professional, friendly, and incredibly punctual. They took the time to explain everything clearly, especially since we had a change in the door opening from the middle to the side.

Not only did they do an excellent job with installation itself, but they also went above and beyond in adjusting the trim measurements for a crisp look and recommending blinds from Home Depot, providing the exact measurements we needed. This thoughtful advice saved us a lot of time and hassle.

The best part? Once the job was finished, they left our place spotless. The cleanup was impeccable, and it felt like they hadn’t been there at all - except for the beautiful new door.

We were facing some water-management issues that flare up recently between our main floor and the basement underneath due to poor construction practices.
The crew from Building Works were very professional and thorough on identifying on-site issues and best solutions to implement. They performed and outstanding quality-job from start to finish. Their care, expertise, and finesse is what made the work so great.
A shout out to the crew Pavlo (lead), Serhii, Cheemy and Oleh... great hard-quality working team. Careful with many other little things at home, as well as very conscious and respectful. Is very nice to see gentleman of this caliper doing great work!
Scott the PM pinpointed the main issue on the first visit and it was spot-on, he also help us address this issue in the midst of the rainy-weather of the last few days and was flexible to help us accommodate such urgency.
We are definitively keeping them handy for any other needs and will recommend them with no hesitation.

A few days prior to the closing of a home purchase deal, our home inspector saw mold in the attic. Scott from Building Works arrived at the site promptly, and in a manner of a few hours was able to identify the issue, scope it, and prepare a strategy. A quote was provided by the end of the day. We were a bit anxious about the 'last minute' discovery of mold, but the prompt action by Building Works, their professional assessment and analysis gave us the confidence to close the deal. The Building Works mold remediation crew (shout out to Roy and Shawn) were great to work with. They were professional and thorough. Kept disruption to minimum and clean-up was awesome. The attic access and hatch constructed by Fooni was incredible. Fantastic workmanship. He was also very professional and courteous. Attic vent installation by Matt was smooth and efficient (having him come back to install a few more). Not that I wish attic mold on anyone - but if you are unfortunate - Building Works is the company that I would recommend hands down.

I am happy to have dealt with building works for a fix in my home. Initially, I thought the repair might be more extensive, but thanks to the company's expertise in dealing with humidity and wood rot, it turned out to be a relatively small job.

At first Scott came and had a look to the issue. Unlike other companies, he quickly identified what needed to be done and provided a straightforward quote via email. After quote acceptance, communication via cellphone text was effective to schedule start date while juggling around Calgary November weather. When Paulo and Serhii came they were friendly, well organized and with strong work ethic. After finishing, they gave some pieces of advise to improve draining and avoid the problen to happen again.

I attached some pictures with the before,during repair, and after. The company offers 5 year warranty that gives peace of mind about the quality.

We called Building Works to check on a potential odor or mold situation in our renovated bathroom. The service to make the booking was seamless and then when the Project Manager (Tim Chapman) arrived at our home he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and understanding. He went over and above to help provide us with information and knowledge so we were best equipped to make the decision necessary. One thing we always look for in service providers is the willingness to not only provide information but also help us make the most financially responsible decision, even if it isn't to the biggest possible benefit of the company at that time. We're grateful to Tim and Building Works and will certainly be using them for future work as necessary.

Baggy Buk and Nat replaced the sliding doors in my condo unit - I wasn’t even home! -when I returned, the doors were replaced and no mess or dust inside my unit at all - I asked to have the trim painted the same as my wall and Baggy was all over it saying that would be no problem! They were super polite and friendly. Highly recommend !
