The previous reviewer was totally right. This company is horrible. They installed our kitchen in August of 2021. However, there were may issues with the kitchen cabinets such as: 2 missing cabinet doors (see attached picture), 2 missing large panels, no moldings, oven did not fit into oven tower, all shelves in the lower cabinets were wrong size. We waited patiently phoning dozens of times pleading to fix the kitchen. All in vain, for some unknown reason this company can not finish our kitchen, so we are stuck with unfinished kitchen.

Being new to the area I put faith in trusting the reviews for CK design and hired them to redo my kitchen. Had a quote done in October letting them know I would not be ready until spring. To hold my quote price I was required to give 50% down $6000.00.
Then in February had a discussion with an acquaintance I discovered her aunt had them do her kitchen and it was a total mess!! I seen pictures and she was correct it was!!
Later I learned of several other kitchens they had done and seen pictures. Was advised by some people who had them do their kitchens to not go forward with them that it would be a disaster!
I then decided to cancel and asked for a refund. Allan had been in contact by global news about the story going to air and kept asking if I did the story. I only replied with the question of if he could send my deposit back He ended the conversation with
My lawyer will be in contact of you!!!
Needless to say I have not received my deposit back!!!!! Have not heard anything from CK design since our conversation on February 22, 2023

Hired this company in April 2022. Was told 10-12 weeks to have kitchen installed. Constant excuses, delays, cancellations. They will come in for a few hours, do a bit of work and then leave saying they will finish or address concerns “next time”. We never knew when next time would be. Unless we called or emailed to follow up they would never reach out to us. After 9 months we still did have a completed kitchen.
Workmanship is poor to say the least. Cabinets and shelves are bowing, pullouts don’t work, panels aren’t secure, trim is crooked, pieces are missing, hinges are twisted, these are just some of the issues we are left with.
I would rate zero if that was an option.

Originally (different ownership) CK were very accommodating with our kitchen requests. Now, to date, we have realised that the materials used were cheaper than chips. De laminated, rotten kick boards, failing hinges. They also fitted out our mud room with the worst craftsman ship. Things need to be put right but we keep getting told that they are busy and a reply never comes. I ended up having to do the warranty work myself. Definitely do not recommend.
In response to the delinquent account, we held back money from final payment because your fitter bodged the trim work and couldn't be bothered to mitre the joints. Since you haven't rectified it after 8 attempts to get you here, we obviously held back final payment. One fitter did turn up one day but didn't know what he was here to fix and didn't bring anything to fix it with. Total shambles.

CK Design has been a very unreliable company to work with. We have been receiving poor and incorrect materials for our kitchen- after waiting months past the expected completion date. They have not taken accountability for their work and now are not responding to our concerns. It has been very disheartening not being able to trust a company you have invested in.

If your reading this go find somewhere else for cabinetry. They will take your advanced deposit to pay for other jobs, then show up in 8 months to do trash work.

Highly don't recommend this company. It's a scam. Rather go to Kelowna and do business there then with this company. Stay away!! Save your money!
