I paid for a 24-hour asbestos test and dropped off my sample at 10 a.m. Friday, expecting results by 10 a.m. Saturday. Instead, I received them Monday morning at 10am. My demolition crew was on standby and had to be sent home, costing me time and money.
Nowhere on the sign-in sheet, the form I filled out (even the small print), or in conversation with staff did it say that weekend returns weren’t possible. The front desk never mentioned it, and I only learned after calling in Monday to inquire that they claim it’s “on the website.” I had went directly to the office to drop the sample so I did not check the website. I prefer to deal directly face to face.
When I asked for a $25 refund for the expedited fee (simply out of acknowledgment and principle, they refused and were short and rude over the phone. If you offer a 24-hour service, it should mean 24 hours unless explicitly explained otherwise. I believe many companies are not being held accountable and I find they should be. I'd suggest using another company to test your asbestos, but that's just my opinion. Thanks.

DONT TRUST THIS PEOPLE, WE TRUSTED THEM IN YHE INSPECTION OF OUR NEW PLACE, THEY TOLD US EVERYTHING WAS GOOD, DAYS LATER WE FOUND OUT THE PLACE HAVE ASBESTO AND THE LIGHTS DONT WORK, PRACTICALLY THEY DIDNT DO THEIR JOB TO REALLY CHECK THE PLACE.. THEY CHARGE 500 DOLLAR.. SO GO AND PAY A BIT MORE FOR A REAL INSPECTION AND DONT GET SURPRISED AT THE MOMENT YOU MOVE IN THE NEW HOME. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TOO. DONT TRUST THEM WITH SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT LIKE YOUR HOME.
