Poor management and an unfair approach to tenants. We were charged extensively upon moving out, almost wiping our deposit. The property manager was extremely unreasonable, backed by her supervisor, and seemed more focused on maximizing charges than being fair. She insisted on repainting the entire unit and billed it to us just to make it look brand new again after years of normal occupancy. Ridiculously, even shadows in her photos were cited as “damage” to justify painting walls.

I completely agree with other reviews mentioning that tenants are bullied and treated as if they’re disposable. It’s clear the management is more interested in squeezing money out of tenants than providing a fair and professional rental experience. You can’t expect a unit to look brand new after years of normal use but apparently, they do.

Stay away if you value transparency and respect.

Has entered our apartment 3 times in the first 2 months to fix issues with the building. Failed to withdraw payment and blamed us for non compliance. Avoid moving into a woodsmere apartment whenever possible.

Horrific management company. You wait weeks for a response from your property management three to be exact and they send you an infraction letter for harassing them despite them not even getting back to you. They also had to make the buildings pet friendly but after 2 years they decided to revoke that even people who moved in with the agreements that they can have a pet aren't allowed one anymore despite that's what they were sold on when they moved in this company is a slum lord company.

Owner and property manager harass and bully tenants. They will give you infractions or try to evict you for things you never did, and proof is not required for them to do this. The building is cheap, and the parking lot is horrendous and has speed bumps that would rip the bumper off any lowered car. The amount of things wrong with this place is too many for me to list in a review. Management is just twisted.

Do not trust this management company, they are screwing up good tenants, single moms, apparently after the money, not too many stars on this place, be aware, something is not right!!!

Been renting with woodsmere for a couple of years and overall I am completely dissatisfied with the poor communication and bad management especially with maintenance and senior property manger
