I had an amazing experience with Ouch My Back Moving Company. From the moment I booked, their communication was clear and professional. The movers arrived right on time, were very friendly, and handled all my belongings with care. They worked quickly but carefully, making sure everything was securely packed and transported without any damage.
What I really appreciated was how stress-free they made the entire process. Moving can be overwhelming, but their team was organized, efficient, and respectful of my home and schedule. The pricing was fair with no surprise fees, which was a big plus.
I highly recommend Ouch My Back to anyone looking for a smooth, reliable, and hassle-free moving experience. I’ll definitely be using them again for my next move!

Pros: Movers arrived on time, were friendly, and got straight to work . They handled my stuff well and had all the equipment ready. They wrapped my tv and mattress which I appreciated. All my stuff was treated well and arrived undamaged.

Cons: They left a massive gouge on my door, I was watching, dumbfounded, as they tried to cram a couch through the door as I could hear wood splintering. I am not a professional mover and I know that you stop when you hear wood splintering.

When the movers were backing into my new place nobody was watching the top of the truck, if I didn't yell out they would have backed into a structure and damaged the roof and gutter.

These 2 things made me feel it was not quite a professional job, but I was certainly charged a professional price. I am not exactly unhappy overall, but I will certainly never use them again nor will I recommend them. I am surprised as I heard many good things about them.

These guys were great! I'd give them more stars if possible. Excellent communication from the company; a phone call from Connor as they were close to arrival. Both Connor and James were very communicative, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions. Very reasonable prices. Instead of the day being stressful, it was a breeze (for me). I highly recommend!

Overall it was okay, but seemed a bit disorganized. They did wrap and cover my furniture as needed. As well as they did work fairly hard. Movers were scheduled for 10am but arrived at 11:30am, however, they did call to ask if it was okay. Were missing some tools to dissemble my bed but it was fine getting it out without dissembling. Left some supplies at my house (big roll of the plastic wrap, blanket for wrapping furniture). Moved some bins I didn’t ask that were my landlords that stored firewood then asked me what I wanted to do with them. I asked them to move it back to which they replied they may not have time so I explained do you want me to move back a large bin of firewood in my small car by myself, so then they did move it back for me. Some screws on my table loosened and fell out in the moving truck but I did have to fix my table. Overall it was okay, lot of work in the heat and the movers were nice. But I liked the moving company used previously better so next time I move I’ll likely go back to the previous or a different company.

Movers showed up with no blankets, tape or tie downs. The had to go back to go back to the yard and only returned with a few blankets. We had to run to the store and buy tape ourselves. One of our two movers showed up sick and left within 45 mins of starting the move only leaving us with one mover.
The remaining mover was great. Friendly, professional and very helpful. When talking with the invoicing department, they provided a good discount on the invoice thankfully. But still was not the best experience unfortunately

Upon arrival: they refused to do the move. 3 separate piles of “stuff” friends picking up. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living room. Up taped boxes for last minute items. 2 in each area. 45 mins later, I have to call, the co. No communication the actual movers. Apparently a different story, something about me not allowing pics, n not being ready. No communication, as to what was going n what was staying. Mid day, said they were done, not taking anything else. Had 2 1/2ton truck loads to move after the move. New place, impatient with an unloading elevator, wanting to unload in an unloading zone. Completely different areas. Left my sofa in the buildings entrance foyer. Wouldn’t fit in the elevator. 2 days later pd guys to move it for me. As I gave money to buddy to move the last of my belongings. Left the sofa n disappeared while I unloaded the elevator. They loaded it n I unloaded it. Twice they came to help me. I did it, They were gone n I had a stack of boxes n stuff at the elevator to drag to my apt. Reception heard all this, owner has. No real results. Upon the booking, I’d stressed about a heart condition.
Limited activity. It was already a stressful day. But here I was moving “stuff”.

I was in a tight spot for a very last minute move for my mom that was a bit of a mess and EVERYONE at Ouch My Back Moving was amazing from making a last minute appointment to looking after storage and then the next move. I had a follow up question after the final move and even then the attentive nature and quick reply was great. So nice to deal with service professionals. Thanks guys, for another well-done move this week!
OMB helped me move now for the second time. Both moves couldn't have gone any better. Love their great before-communication, including on moving day I knew exactly who was coming. The movers were just great guys who know what they're doing, and most importantly in my view, again showed great team-work skills. Makes everything run smoothly and efficiently. OMB assigned 3 movers to the job (other moving companies offered just 2), which makes an already stressful move so much easier for everybody, plus it saves time. Pricing is fair and transparent. I highly recommend OMB.
