This building may look pretty on the outside and inside of the units, but it is very ugly under the surface. They have the most incompetent and untruthful management that I have ever dealt with in any apartment building I have ever lived in. The maintenance team is just as bad. I have had so many issues since moving here, and management is nearly impossible to get in contact with and takes absolutely no accountability for their team's inability or unwillingness to do their jobs. The issues I've had were so bad that the Regional Property Manager got involved, but she has lied to me multiple times and tried to gaslight me into thinking issues were taken care of even though I have photographic evidence they were not (see attached photos). The two attached pictures of spit on my door were taken 3.5 weeks apart. The Regional Property Manager continues to insist that my door was cleaned well before the second picture was taken and that those are just scratches. It's a blatantly false claim and unbelievably unprofessional and untruthful. I have been peed on by my upstairs neighbor's dogs, I have had the same tenant spit on my door which took 3.5 weeks for management to get cleaned up. They even sent me a picture of the front door of another unit and claimed they cleaned it up when they had not. I've had glass, large rocks, food and paint dropped on my patio which were never cleaned up in a timely manner, I've had my patio railings peed on by dogs so many times (which was rarely cleaned off within 4-5 days) that they had to repaint my railings after complaining almost every day for 3 months straight. I literally have had to follow up with the manager of this building 4-5 times to ensure anything gets done whenever I have an issue. The manager will probably reply to this review with some copy and paste message about wanting to speak with me about my concerns. I have tried countless times already but none of these concerns are ever taken seriously and are just brushed off. He is rarely in the office and almost never responds to emails. Please listen to the negative reviews, I promise you they are true. Steven and Terre in the leasing office are the exception and are both great.

I was a resident for 3 years and in the beginning it was a great place to live. When I initially leased, the property was only a year old so everything was in great condition. I mainly renewed out of laziness and contentment for what I had. And while he wasn’t my leasing agent, Steven is really nice and helpful.

But what made me decide to move on was essentially noisy neighbors (more common than not in apartments but towards the end it was particularly bad), the persistent smell of marijuana, the terrible, low-visibility of the garage (you WILL get into a near collision if not hit altogether), the spotty valet trash services (they often changed rules, had no consistency with pick up, and were very picky with what they deemed worthy to pick up) and your packages only have a 50% change of making it to you. Packages are often left wherever the carrier feels like leaving it so I can’t blame it all on the property but they’ll hassle you if you ask them about packages. I also had packages that were left in the leasing office but I suspect they don’t organize them in a timely manner so if you go looking for it, they’ll say they don’t have it but if you go back the next week, they suddenly have it. Why have a feature in the resident portal about packages for pick up if you all clearly aren’t using it?

The notable cons that irk me so bad I have to mention them:
- The garage sucks. I saw many tires stolen and had many near collisions. Putting up flimsy corner mirrors did not solve anything and they were often unchecked so simple bouts of wind would blow them over and leave you completely sightless rounding a corner.
- Loud fire alarms. They would go off and every time it felt like management had no idea how to turn them off. As a pet owner, this left me in distress on what to do with my cat when they went on for hours.
- Maintenance is not what it should be. Workers will leave the dumpster in the most insane places (middle of garage path or right at the entrance) making it hard to navigate around. Also, every time maintenance entered my unit for inspections they would leave all the lights on without turning them off. Like cmon, I’M paying for the electricity here. Additionally, I once needed emergency maintenance and was told that the emergency guy lives 45-1 hour away… I was stuck in my apt for hours until he showed because the electronic key died and I didn’t want to leave my place unlocked. Turns out replacing the battery is extremely simple and had they told me, I could have saved me the time and him the travel by just doing it myself.

But it’s nice being so centrally located to a lot of things and being so close to DNT. I would recommend this place if you are petless and won’t be home often as the noises and smells can be overwhelming.

RENTER BEWARE!! if you notice, every single five star review is from someone who just moved in because they asked us to write a review!! Yes it may LOOK nice but that’s it! The entire building is falling apart! There are leaks in numerous apartments when it’s not even raining. The walls are paper thin, the neighbors will know your name! Go check Yelp for other floods in different apartments here!

Jennifer doesn’t care about water coming from your ceiling at all! She said it’s minor because it’s only in one part of my apartment so it’s fine!

Update: Changing to 1 Star from 5. Seems I’m not the only person being taken advantage of by greystar. I left an immaculately clean apt with pics and videos. After a month I discover they wanted to charge us excess cleaning fees. This is called “make-ready” for an Apt owner. I’m a landlord and understand this. These are your costs, not mine. I even shared the exact legal language within the lease agreement that I fulfilled my obligations. Initial rep wouldn’t budge on what she said even though there was nothing in writing to back her up. For months they refused to reply via phone or email and just ignored my attempts to resolve and just sent to collections. They know most people won’t fight and of course no one would pay more in legal fees than what they owe. I’d imagine this is wide spread amongst their entire portfolio.

Save yourself the headache and don’t come to listen to the obnoxiously loud fire alarms. They have gone off at random time for almost no reason for not 1 fire to have happened. You certainly can’t sleep through them but you’ll probably lose your hearing as you learn to ignore them because the building isn’t burning down. The only thing burning is my sanity having to listen to the alarm go off for anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes at a time.

Addition. You not anyone you know needs to live here. Whether it is dealing with the god awful parking garage with only one entrance and turning space barely wide enough for two cars to pass each other. So you are always risking an accident entering or leaving the parking garage. And since the garage only has one entrance facing a taqueria with its entrance facing the parking garage. Finding a time that you can enter without it being a headache is virtually impossible. Picture proof below of what our every night has turned into. And yes that is our own apartments dumpster blocking half of the barely useable street.

Now let’s talk about the apartments themselves. They are nice kept but you can very easily hear anyway talking in the hallway or in their own apartment through the thin doors. And while they will claim that all the hallways are ‘temperature’ controlled we spent 8 months with our hallway being warmer than it was outside.

The bottom line is for the price you will pay to live here. You will easily find something with less construction around it and more accessibility to come and go from home.

My husband and I lived at this apartment complex for 3 years. We were one of the very few first tenants when the complex was first built. We enjoyed our time there. We never had issues with staff and never complained. We were going to leave a great review when we check out, however after receiving our move out/check out fees we were very disappointed. They charged us a full months rent instead of the pro-rated amount that they promised to do. They charged us for a cleaning fee when my husband and I hired Molly Maids to come do a professional move-out cleaning. It was sparkly clean. When we did our walk through at move out, the manager said it looked like no one ever lived in our unit (it was that clean). We have sent our receipts from our Molly Maid service and the apartment still will not respond to us for a removal of that service of our move out fees. We will pay the standard fees, however we feel like they are not being fair in regards to fees that they told us would be dropped.

This complex seems so glamorous, but it is not. The only clean floor, is the first floor. The third floor consistently smelled, trash everywhere, our neighbor (worked in the leasing office) smoked inside and cause our apartment to smell but yet the leasing office dismissed our concerns when brought to them, pool always felt slimey, items that were broken/not working when we moved in and noted were never fixed, our AC unit went out 8 times in during our 10 month lease (one night the emergency maintenance refused to come fix it until the next day, causing it to be 85 in the apartment). Upon move out, we got the all clear from the leasing office that everything had been done and we were good to go. Had the apartment professionally cleaned, nail holes patched, carpets cleaned, etc. 2 months after move out we got a bill for outrageous charges. When contact the leasing office they forwarded me to Greystar Receivables. Took Greystar 5 months to contact me back and refused to explain any of the charges but wanted to make a settlement case. Even offered the video and picture proof we have from when we moved out, and they wouldn’t respond. Emailed again for clarification and still waiting for a response 2 months later, yet the charges are increasing and we don’t even live there! Do yourself a favor, and do not rent here!!!!!
