I recently had the opportunity to attend the two-day tour guide training.
It was incredibly valuable and comprehensive. It covered most of the key aspects of being a tour guide—topics that would normally take weeks to learn.
The instructors were Darcie and Jai and the course was hosted by Discover Saskatoon. Darcie and Jai were not only professional and knowledgeable but also warm and engaging. No one was watching the clock or checking their phones—in fact, I kept glancing at mine just to ask myself, "Why is time flying?"

The course changed my perspective on Saskatoon and opened up thousands of new windows in my mind. I realized how much potential this city truly has.

In my opinion, Darcie and Jai delivered the training with great expertise and heart. Without their presence, the course wouldn’t have been nearly as impactful or inspiring.

The only downside was that it ended too soon—I wish it had lasted longer.
