I went to FieldTrip to help deal with the depression I have been experiencing for over 20 years. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and genuine. I don't regret doing it, and think I gained a bit of distance...but as one former therapist at this clinic told me, it was more like blowing the dust off my depression. It is not a cure or replacement for other therapies.

What did I gain? Genuine relationships full of care that I will cherish, the start of a more flexible mind, and a desire to go deeper with this avenue of treatment. There is something here.

However, the knowledge and tools provided me were less than I have learned myself in research and experience. I found myself multiple times teaching them about the psychological theory and biological processes related to the treatment. You may be better off going to a genuine Buddhist temple to learn meditation or another more authentic experience where there is more oversight by professionals with more experience in this treatment.

So, caveat emptor. Keep your expectations low and make sure to educate yourself on the treatment before you go. Be ready to advocate for yourself.
They will (kindly) dismiss your knowledge and experience, but will eventually listen.

Be especially careful if you think you may be at risk of adverse effects. The clinic itself does not have the safeguards in place to really provide you with a safe and deep experience. Their intake process and safeguards throughout the treatment are minimal, which has brought the clinic's head physician under disciplinary action by his regulatory body just last year.

I do recommend this treatment, but I also think it is experimental for a reason and potential clients should be aware of that.

Let me be clear: If you’re unsure about this treatment, read this.

This isn’t to convince anyone. It’s for those who want to heal but don’t know how, standing at the edge of something bigger than words.

This isn’t New Age placebo or a party drug. It’s medicine, and like all REAL medicine, it demands respect. People who say it “didn’t work” usually reveal more about themselves than the treatment. This requires clarity, humility, courage, and surrender. If you come with ego or escapism then you’ll find confusion, not healing. Those who left upset? They wanted to trip, not heal so i can't take them seriously.

What happened to me was real. Before Field Trip, I was skeptical just like everyone, raised to fear “drugs.” I’d tried everything under the sun: therapy, meditation, breathwork, cold plunges, fasting, retreats, books, workshops, antidepressants, podcasts, skydiving, solo trips, prayer, support groups. Nothing worked. Then, years of pain surfaced unexpectedly. Something ancient in me spoke. I cried, held my own hand, forgave myself. I finally understood surrender. (Key word: SURRENDER! Remember that because without surrendering, the medicine won't work) My soul untied a knot tightened since childhood. Trauma hides in memories you’ve buried but never escaped. Ask yourself, “What’s making me feel this way?” You won’t answer clearly because trauma lingers like unnamed shadows.

If you’re still reading, it means there’s something inside you that resonates. Listen to it. I’m not saying it’ll be easy. I’m saying it will be worth it only if you’re ready. Ready to drop the act, to let go of control, to look at the parts of yourself you’ve ignored or judged or tried to numb away and most importantly (write it somewhere so you don't forget) you need to SURRENDER. If you come in open, with respect and clear intention, you will not leave the same. This isn’t a clinic you visit. This is a place you meet yourself.

I’m forever grateful to the clinic, to the medicine, to the therapist, and most of all, to Houda. She saw me before I could see myself. She didn’t try to convince me or make promises. Instead, she was just quietly excited for me to finally face my fears and traumas by walking straight into them. She reminded me that healing isn’t always gentle but it is always real.

On the other side of fear lies a silence louder than all your doubts, a freedom older than your pain. It’s not a place you find but rather, it’s the place that’s been waiting quietly inside you all along. You may not understand it yet, not fully
but when you do I’ll see you on the ''OTHER SIDE''.

Shine on you crazy diamond
Love, Peace and Healing ✌

I worked with Huda for my six sessions at Field Trip Health. I had an incredible experience— especially as someone with anxiety— I truly can’t recommend their facility and treatments enough.

Fieldtrip was extremely helpful as treatment for my PTSD symptoms. The staff were very friendly, and made me feel welcomed and supported throughout treatment. It was a great experience and significantly reduced my symptoms, which had been resistant to every other treatment I tried. Highly recommended this to anyone struggling with PTSD/CPTSD symptoms.

I have read through many of the negative reviews posted here, I can still say that I have had a very positive experience through the ketamine assisted therapy sessions received through Field Trip Health. Although unfortunately the cost of these treatments is currently extremely high, I did find them very helpful at the time for providing a little glimmer of hope and relief in cases (mine) of extremely resistant major depressive disorder.

The Field Trip team were wonderful, end-to-end, and made my experience throughout treatment feel safe, inviting and well organized. Franklin and his team on site are just wonderful people, and so knowledgeable; their attention to set and setting is surely creditable for the positive overall experience I had during my journeys. I found the full process clear, well organized and supportive throughout. The booking, scheduling, appointment adjustment and payment functions all worked seamlessly. Finally, I enjoyed working with Rose, my therapist during the process she was very attuned and knowledgeable and I left our sessions with useful tools going forward.
Thank you team!
