I got introduced to Funding Portal through an entrepreneurship course I took with MaRS for starting up a business. It sounds very great with lots of funding sources to tap in. So I signed up for finding funding and joining the fundcard network to increase my chance of getting funding. All the funding programs I got were very general and my business idea did not fit their criteria. So after 2 months, I decided to stop the subscription. I emailed first. No response. I called, and got a voicemail. I left a message and waited for 2 weeks with no response. Meanwhile, they charged me for another month of subscription. I called again, got somebody on the phone advising me to email them my cancellation request. I told them I did, but I have not got any response. So the person told me that he would work on my request and hung up on me without confirming anything. I emailed them again just to make sure. They finally stopped charging me after this attempt. Over all, very bad customer service!!!
