When I was applying for a rental unit at 41 Johnson St Barrie Ont, it had its ups and downs but understood it is a new build so there would be issues along the way. I moved here in April/ 25. There are still issues but each one is being handled and corrected. The building ls well maintained, the kinks are being resolved and the management are great. There is always ,within working hours, ,,someone in the office. If they cannot assist you there are others who can and will. I know because I have been in that situation. I have lived in condos, as owner, and rentals and this is a very very well maintained building. I am a fussy renter but I am very happy with my move. I would recommend to anyone. It’s a great rental building. Thank you MetCap,especially, the Property Managers, and Cosimo at head office. You’re all the best in my books. A satisfied tenant.

My experience with Metcap has been beyond appalling. From the beginning, my move-in was a nightmare — the apartment was filthy and disorganized. Despite this, I completed my tenancy properly and moved out on August 23rd.

Metcap confirmed they had my forwarding address and issued a cheque for my deposits, but when it arrived on September 10th, it had two errors and could not be cashed. My mother contacted Metcap, and they admitted the mistake. We were told a corrected cheque would be couriered and that we would receive a call once it was ready.

Since then, we called daily for three days straight with no response. When my mother finally got through, the accounts payable staff member was rude, accused her of lying about calling, then walked down to reception and handed her the phone. She asked to speak to someone in accounts payable, but the receptionist refused to provide a phone number or connect her to anyone who could actually help.

As of today — the final legal day for Metcap to issue my deposits — I am still waiting on $2,900 due entirely to their error and lack of follow-through. Instead of correcting their mistake in a timely manner, they have ignored calls, been unprofessional, and treated us with disrespect.

It should never take more than a week to reissue a cheque. Their disorganization and poor customer service have now forced me to pursue dispute resolution through the Tenancy Branch, something that could have been avoided if Metcap had taken responsibility and acted professionally.

Well metcap took over in Jan.
We have pools on site.... THEY ARE NOT OPEN, devastated. Also pools advertised on website. Times our financially tough, tenants rely on the pool to keep us cool and entertain our kids.
We don't have onsite SUPERINTENDENT which is fine. However our bldg isn't so great now. The SUPERINTENDENT s favor some tenants. Metcap seems to be trying to get on board as cheap as possible.
Metcap hired a company to plant flowers they aren't even being watered. Money could have been spent on pool.

The worst company I don’t recommend renting from this company building management and property manager is extremely unprofessional and rude for no reason. They refuse to help with any concerns a tenant might have(parking, etc).

This company is a joke. Should you decide to rent from them, be prepared to have the LTB and your lawyers involved.

182 Church in Brampton, elevators frequently breakdown, they are I believe over 50 yrs old so I suggest a lower floor. By the end of this year we will have been given 4 notices of entry for non emergencies since May, we feel like our privacy is intruded upon constantly, in my opinion they've made no effort to avoid the amount of times they enter your unit, it's kind of ridiculous. It increases every year. And despite the people who run the building working hard and trying their best, not much has been improved but they file AGI's as often as they can, I think we've all paid 2 or 3 times for the same boiler. Not sure if a different property management company would be different but it couldn't hurt, MetCap ain't it
