When my apartment flooded in June 2025, Petwin’s lack of response made a bad situation worse. It took almost 37 hours for anyone from their property management team or maintenance to respond to the flood, despite hourly calls to their supposedly 24/7 emergency hotline, and requests for immediate emergency service through their online portal. When they did finally show up, there was zero accountability from the property management, no apologies, and a callous disregard for basic etiquette or prompt correspondence. A truly unprofessional and Kafkaesque experience; I would not recommend Petwin Properties for any form of lodging.

I really enjoy living here. I love that it is a gated community and also that it's really quiet in the neighborhood. The management is alway available when you need them. I love how big my apartment is and that it includes a washer and dryer. The electricity cost is not expensive at all.

Clean and updated units, lovely natural surroundings with manicured lawns and trees. Charu, the property manager, offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the office and provides prompt and timely communication to address concerns. It was great to find dependable management at my new home!

We had been looking for a new place for a while and visited several options, but Petwin stood out as the most convenient and comfortable one. From the very first visit, Charu—the landlord—made us feel completely at home. She’s incredibly friendly, always smiling, and treats everyone with so much respect. Even when my wife had a few doubts, Charu was patient and kind enough to let us visit the place again to be sure.

We also had a great phone conversation with Voljka, her manager, who was just as pleasant and helpful—we’re really looking forward to meeting her in person soon!

The property itself is surrounded by green areas, creating a peaceful and cozy environment that we absolutely love. We’ve just signed the contract and honestly, we can’t wait to move in!

For someone that lived at Mission Square Apartments, managed by Petwin, for over 3 years, I can strongly say from experience that it was quite unsafe to live there.

One of the tenants caused a flood to the building which damaged my suite and I had to empty my suite for the repair work. For the work that would only take 1 week, the property managers (Amanda and Hemang) dragged it to over 4 months. Despite several email inquiries, the management refused to provide the insurance info of the at fault tenant to which I had to pay thousands of dollars in hotel accommodations.

Initially after a few months they offered me to temporarily stay at another apartment which the process seemed quite fraudulent. The temporary suite I moved into was infested by bed bugs and the lights were not working. Additionally it was very loud and party-oriented and as a student and full time working professional I couldn’t stay in that in that kind of environment and had to move out again-during cold winter months.

I then walked out of my lease as I no longer wanted to deal with this property management. Upon moving my contents, I noticed that there was a severe damage to my furnitures due to the contractor’s negligence work regarding tenant’s personal property. I informed Petwin about the situation to which they refused to take responsibility for the damage.

During my stay, there were constant harassment incidents toward female tenant from the males residing at the apartment and, although reported, there was no action taken against it.

Now it make sense why their properties are rented below the average rental market rate.

Overall, it was a very unsafe experience and wouldn’t wish that for others considering the property company.

They have made many improvements to our building since they acquired it like upgrading the lobby & better signage. The Property Manager Amanda Novotny is the best I have ever dealt with. She is prompt, organized, and a pleasure to work with.
