I’m going to start from the beginning and explain everything clearly.

One morning, while staying temporarily in our current place, we noticed a real estate office nearby and decided to walk in. Before that, we had also walked into several other agencies like Action, Sterling, Izon, etc. — all of them were very polite, explained what we needed to do, and we followed their instructions. Most of them approved our profile and even showed us various places. We didn’t like some of the units and decided not to rent, which is normal.

Now, when we first came to your office, we were greeted by two women who were incredibly rude. My wife even said, “Forget it, don’t apply here,” but I chose to stay positive and went ahead with the application anyway. Our profile got approved, and we were told it’s “first come, first served.”

We selected two listings and viewed them. For the one we really liked, we were told: “It’s pending, we are waiting for the tenant’s confirmation.” But earlier, we were told that if your profile is approved and you view the place, you can rent it right away — so that was the first lie. Either the rule is “no viewings before approval” and “once approved, first come first served,” or it’s not — it can’t be both.

Anyway, for the second unit (the available one), the person who showed it to us said: “If you want it, it’s available.” We said yes, and she told us: “I will call you in the afternoon.” We made it very clear: “Our belongings are arriving, please let us know either way.” She agreed.

But we never got a call.
We had to call you, and were met again with rudeness — “We’re busy, we’ll call today or tomorrow.” We were stressed because our furniture was arriving and we didn’t know what to do.

The next morning, I called again, waited on hold for 39 minutes, and nobody picked up. At that point, we gave up hope.

By chance (and thank God), there was a unit we liked through Action Realty. I messaged them in the morning, explained what happened, and they replied: “If there’s a cancellation, we’ll slot you in.”
They did — and thanks to them (and by God’s grace), we ended up finding a better place.
Sometimes good things really do come out of bad experiences.

So, thank you Action Realty.

And to you — 21 Realty or whatever your name is — people have lives. Their time is valuable.
You wasted both my time and my money.
I flew here just to view homes. I constantly had to use taxis, spend money, and you left me on hold or waiting endlessly when all you had to do was say:

“Yes, your profile is approved, but we’re no longer considering you.”

That would’ve been enough.

Your time isn’t the only one that matters — and I truly believe that bad service like this, the kind that makes someone write this long of a message, always comes back around in one way or another.

We used their rental division. The home was poorly cleaned when we moved in. Some appliances did not work, and were never repaired during the entire tenancy even with multiple requests given in writing.
The biggest negative is the poor professionalism in their office. We had a bylaw complaint submitted against us by a Century 21 office member, rather than the company contacting us directly about the issue. Bylaw confirmed that there was no issue. The office staff proceeded to send us threatening emails.
It was a very strange and uncomfortable company to rent through. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with them by rejecting my application. Despite having a strong financial profile—including an annual income of over $130,000, a credit score above 760, and a flawless rental history with no late payments—I was rejected without any clear explanation.
When I reached out for clarification, I was met with rude and dismissive responses, which only deepened my concern. Given the strength of my application and the lack of transparency, I’m left questioning whether discrimination played a role in the decision.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I intend to make sure this issue is brought to light. I will be sharing my experience with relevant media outlets and advocacy groups to raise awareness and push for accountability.

Their real estate agents are incredibly full of themselves — rude, condescending, and completely lacking in professionalism. Try bringing that attitude to a bigger market and see how far it gets you! NOTICING the Agency ONLY responds to positive messages here too! Taking the time to respond to negative feedback might actually help you reflect and improve!

Terry Isenbecker worked closely with me to find a home within my price range. He listened and remembered what I wanted and what I was looking for in a house. Terry answered all of my questions (there were a lot of them) thoroughly and quickly.
He kept me up to date on the available homes within my budget and was extremely flexible with my work schedule while we went to walk through houses. He made this process easy, straight forward and kept on top of paper work and ensured nothing was forgotten.
He was extremely professional and attentive. I will recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell that they give Terry Isenbecker a call.

I owned property that I wasn't in a position to sell, so I looked to Century 21 for property management and it was a great decision. Laura and her team were very reliable
With the amount of bad faith tenants and the residential tenancy act being difficult to follow properly, it was a huge relief to not have to worry about my property being rented when I didn't live in FSJ. Their monthly fee is very reasonable for their services, and even my tenants agreed they were awesome to deal with.

Ashlea DeRose was absolutely fantastic. She helped me to sell my house and from start to finish she was with me every step of the way, doing all she could to make everything easier for me.

She arranged the cleaning after I couldn't find someone myself.

She ensured I was kept in the loop every step of the way, and while I know I was not her only client she made the experience feel like I was.

I wish everyone could have as great an experience with their realtor as I did with mine.

10/10 will recommend her to others.
