Originally had to move in yesterday, turned out they gave us the key but not the fob for entering the floor. I was downstairs and at the end was not able to get into my own flat because they forgot about the procedure of putting me into the door system.
They said it’s the building managements fault yet
I think the company should make sure things happen accordingly. You don’t have to be the one who’s doing all the hands on work but at least make them happen. You are working for landlords but u also have to understand people rent place not for fun but to live. Business will only go on when you have good reputation.
Hope in the future 2025 you guys can do better, thank you.

Alicia was recommended to us by a family friend. To date, we've worked with Alicia for about a year and a half so far for a condo rental. In short, I'm pleased with her services. When we were leasing the unit, Alicia pretty much took care of everything for us. All we had to do were sign papers and drop off the keys. Alicia and her team did everything from recommending a suggested rental listing price, screening tenant applications, and presenting us with the top three possible tenants. We ultimately let Alicia choose the final tenant as we trusted her judgment and expertise.
As for communication, she is reachable through phone or email when needed and responds to emails quite promptly. I will sometimes get an email from her during the very early morning hours of the day (outside of work hours) and it's a testament of how committed she is to her job.
Overall, it has been an absolute pleasure working with Alicia and her team. We look forward to listing new rentals with Access Toronto when the opportunity arises.

We recently started using the services of Access Toronto Property Management and couldn't be happier. Alicia has been a pleasure to work with; she is prompt in her responses and very customer-service oriented. We really feel like we are in good and reliable hands. We look forward to continuing this relationship for many, many years 🙂

I am a small landlord and have used Access Property Management, working with Alicia Stewart, to rent out a condo unit on three occasions. The first two experiences, while not perfect due to some communication delays, were relatively smooth. However, my latest interaction with them has compelled me to write this review.
The third tenant placement process was not only lengthy but ultimately disastrous. After months of searching, Alicia recommended a tenant who seemed to pass all the necessary verifications. This decision led to significant issues, including months of unpaid rent and considerable property damage within the first year.
Upon deeper investigation, the reliability of the tenant screening process came into question. Critical documentation such as credit history and employment verification, which we later found to be fraudulent, was inadequately scrutinized. For instance, employment verification was accepted from a non-existent business, and a tenant-provided screenshot served as the credit report.
While Alicia remained communicative throughout the ordeal, the resolution has been squarely placed on our shoulders. This situation has revealed serious flaws in their tenant screening and verification processes, which are fundamental to property management services.
Given these circumstances, I cannot recommend Access Property Management for those looking to rent their units or for property management services. This experience has highlighted the importance of rigorous tenant screening and the potential consequences of its neglect.

Alicia and her team are hands down amazing at what they do! I've been using them for years now and wouldn't consider going elsewhere! They are always quick to respond, available on short notice and have an extensive knowledge of the Toronto real estate market. I wholeheartedly would recommend them!

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Alicia and team, they are very responsive, reliable, knowledgeable and always happy to assist and help with all the issue and questions that will always arise. We had another property manager before and can say that Access is the best! 100% Recommended!

As a landlord, I was referred to this company by my previous broker, Kyle Dovigi, who always did an excellent 5-star job in finding tenants. Kyle unfortunately no longer does this and this is a huge loss to landlords.
This company however was a joke when it came to finding tenants. The administrator Alicia Stewart who runs the day-to-day operations is never available on her cellphone for customers, but is available for agents only. She never answered my phone calls nor texts. The only time she called me was the first time when Kyle referred me so that she could secure me as a customer. After that only emails were answered, those too sometimes two days later. This was when I had questions about prospective applicants.
The condo to be leased has a management rule that requires keys to be in lockboxes to be stored with the Concierge with a fee payable by cheque with the unit number to be leased on the cheque. The condo rules forbid the Concierge to be accepting any keys outside a lockbox. The person that this company sent gave the Concierge the wrong unit no. The Concierge called the wrong unit and found out it was already leased. Thankfully, I had called the Concierge earlier and told him that my unit was to be leased so he sorted that out himself quickly.
When I finally found the right tenant and documents were signed, my tenant was told to pick up her suite key from the lockbox on site with the Concierge. That same day she went to the Concierge and found that the lockbox was already removed. This company sent an employee to remove the lockbox and to remove the key from the lockbox and to give it to the Concierge which he could not accept owing to the rules. So, the employee took the keys and lockbox back with her. The tenant emailed me and I phoned Alicia about it but there was no reply. Then, the tenant told her agent about the issue and he was finally able to get a hold of Alicia late in the evening who couriered the key by Uber to my tenant, spending more of the company’s money for such poor coordination. Surely, they could have kept the lockbox on site for 1 more day.
All throughout this ordeal of me going back and forth with the tenant and trying to contact Alicia, Alicia failed to keep me in the loop although I was the paying customer who paid both agents. I was beginning to think the key was lost and had a sleepless night due to this lack of communication with me.
The owner, Alexander Wilson, should note this if he cares about his company prospects and if one thing needs to change that would be to ensure that Alicia picks up her cellphone at least during office hours and responds to urgent texts outside those hours, not just for agents but also for customers. Alex can easily check this by calling her using a different phone no. Till this change occurs, I will be hesitant to use this company.

It has been a great pleasure dealing with Alicia Stewart and her team in regards to renting the property in downtown Toronto. I have been dealing with them for a long time and have a very high regards for their professionaiism and efficiency. They have always managed to find a great tenants for me.
