This post is for the Residential School Museum in Algoma University. They have the hallway located on the Second floor + additional side room which expands into large room with multiple displays and items of art created and displayed.
There is even a diary (physical) in case, and beside it a digital version of the whole diary is available to view thru the pages.

Worst management ever. I don't know on what basis people in the administration and accounts department are paid. The staff is unresponsive and has no concern for student issues. Forget getting a response to your email—when you do get one, it is written in a very unprofessional manner. You can be sure that they have not paid any attention to your issue but have forwarded a prewritten text as a response. This university exists only to mince money from international students. They change fees as they wish, then change them back, and don’t pay you the extra amount you are owed on time. Horrible place to learn. I don't recommend anyone study here if you value your peace of mind.

This college feels more like a money-making business than an education center. Teaching quality is weak, professors aren’t fluent in English, and guidance is lacking.

Every thing at Sault Campus is about money and you don’t get the quality needed.

Courses: You would be paying for some courses that’s offered online and self taught. The courses that have professors teaching, some don’t even respond to your emails at all. Some don’t provide no feedback for assignments, etc.

Housing & Meal Plan: housing and mandatory meal plan is very overpriced; look to pay around $10,000 for the school year. Meal plan food is the same food over and over for the whole year.

Library & Bookstore: very spacious, but first floor is very noisy. Second floor is much better in terms of noise. Book store is very pricey as well.

Employment: It may be very difficult to find employment on campus; preference would be given to friend of friends rather than your qualifications. Of campus employment is near to impossible as well; employment is by association as well.

Documents: any documents you request here, there is charge (proof of enrolment, graduation certificate, etc).

Overall, I would say avoid Algoma U if possible

Education here is good, and some professors are exceptionally outstanding. However, bureaucracy is a real— Student Success Centre often try if they can, fend you off rather than allowing you to sit and talk to your advisor or accounts team. Trying to get help here, it’s an unproductive cycle where your questions go unanswered, and then you’re blamed for not knowing the answers. The student life team feels like the same 5–6 people organising and attending events suiting to their own interests. The campus is beautiful, and the library’s main floor is the best spot—ironically, also the noisiest (though there is a quieter floor downstairs). Overall, imhho algomau is just a sad place.
