My broker ordered the appraisal in my name.
Even though only my name was on the report and I was souly responsible for the full bill, I am told I have no right to see or know the appraisal. I would have to order a second one and pay again.

Absolutely terrible. Don lowballed so low it's mind boggling. You can barely buy a 3 bed condo in our neighborhood for what he appraised our 5 bed 3 full bath 2 car garage for. We had it appraised last year and they came in $25000 higher and more improvements have been done. He was more interested in talking about his car then doing his job. Stay far away

Sean made it possible for my husband and I to get Mortgage approval very short notice on our dream house, he did the appraisal within the days notice. Without him it wouldn’t have been possible! I’d give more than 5 star review if I could!

We did our calling around, obviously we wanted the "best deal" I mean really they are all offering the same results in the end "an appraisal". And I can't say enough about Don and the team, everything was done professionally and they were very easy to deal with. Would recommend to all my friends and family. Matt Foss admitted to me that he undervalued my home. Then he told me that if I did his job and found house comparables that he could rectify the value. I found 4 comparables and presented them to him. He then refused to admit that he made a mistake. I think Appraisal Solutions needs to reevaluate what the word integrity means.

Edit: The house sold for $33k more than the price that Matt appraised it at.

Update : sale was lost due to this. Thanks..

UPDATE. Got a second opinion and new appraisal from a different company the new appraisal was 285000$. Not only did don low ball he also delayed the sale of my home. Caused a ripple effect backing everything up by almost a month. Now everything is a mess. Truly disappointed in his lack of knowledge. He was out by 19 thousand dollars. That’s a lot of money. I am considering putting in a formal complaint if there is a board of something as this is unacceptable. I had to pay 350$ out of my own pocket of money I didn’t have to pay for the second opinion. Extremely upset over this.

Tax assessed value 278 700 in 2021 and 269900 in 2020 and 2021 appraisal value from this company is only 266 000. Will not take into consideration lot location or views. Seems to value every lot the same in coalhurst even though they are not at all. Would avoid like the plague if you want a fair market assessment that’s not WAY OUY TO LUNCH!!! Now we have to pay for a second assessment from a different company.
