They have a great staff and a wonderful receptionist who helped me in resolving my personal income tax HST Notice of Assessment queries. They are the only CPA's in town and I can understand that they have umpteenth number of corporate clients but still they helped me in my personal tax return.
Now a days Canada Revenue Agency is more vigilant on every individual returns and they are randomly sending Notice of Assessment to verify the return that the individual filed is proper or not. Luckily I was having all the supporting documents for the same and they charged $100+tax for responding on behalf of me and do all the paperwork.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with an accounting firm in my 30 years of business. They passed us around from person to person resulting in an incompetent person completely messing up my files and they are still not right and got us so far behind. The owner promised to handle things herself but that was a lie as she now claims she is too busy and on holidays again and now I have to find a capable firm and facing major penalties. I have heard from many other local businesses that have had similar and worse experiences. Do not use this company unless you want to be disappointed.

I've been using this place since they opened in Bancroft a few years ago.They had a good turn around time and super friendly. Not sure what, but something sure has changed here.
First incident was when I received a call from the Gov asking why my HST hadn't been filed. In a semi-panic I called to find out why. I was told by the receptionist 'its month-end and no one has time to talk to you". I asked for someone to call me. No one did. I had to call days later to find out they hadn't filed it but had charged me for the service.
I file 2 returns. One for a senior and my own, more complicated return.
Second incident happened when I took the seniors return in around mid-March. The receptionist said it would be 'AT LEAST 2-3 weeks"! I thought, not possible. This is a super simple return that they had a history on. In fact it took 1 MONTH and a day. That's a dismal turnaround time and they seem to be the only one's who don't think it is. Too many clients perhaps Hope they realize they aren't the only game in town and they are now lighter by one client for sure. Thank you Liberty Tax for picking up the slack.
