“BEWARE” Careful about your hard earned money. This bank is the most vulnerable bank I have ever seen. I lost huge money because of the weak, vulnerable and incompetent services of the staff and system of this bank. Although I reported the matter within first 1.5 hour including holding and waiting on their customer care line for over one hour. Rather than helping out ATB was always trying to establish that’s it’s the customer mistake though it was clearly some breach of data in their system or they have some mole in their own system passing confidential information out. ATB intentionally delayed and took more than double the required time to figure out the things and finally came out with just saying sorry we can’t help this. This intentional delay had further contributed in fading away of the facts. We pay monthly and yearly fee to maintain our accounts and to feed these people and even after this big loss there is no help and nothing.

So in short once again BE CAREFUL about your own money and take banking somewhere else. ATB is just a joke in name of banking. Thanks

You know what is not awesome, helpful or convenient!?!?!?! When I try to call my branch and then get put through to an automated system and have to stay on the line waiting for a rep to pick up for over 2 hours... All to sort out a problem with the automated payment for the product I was forced to take... The payments don't automatically come out and everytime I try to call my branch I get put through to the team in edmonton or calgary Which then instructs me not to pay with online banking because I run the risk of being dinged with a double payment.... twice a month I am forced to do this. Stop with this team support in Edmonton or Calgary... Fix the automated payment problem and let me call my branch directly. Whom ever came up with this dumb decision needs to be let go... Not convenient, not Helpful

Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!
I am trying to run my company and I Can't get ahold anyone t answer a question.I have emailed and called my banker, I have sat on hold for hours to keep getting told 'l be transferred and wasted my entire day because ATB DOES NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES and the when you do get through after answering all the Q questions The people in the call center don't know how to help you so you get put on hold again. This is supposed to be Alberta's Bank Embarrassing!!! Higher fees less service. How can they call themselves a business bank and then take away all your day from your business sitting on hold all day AND THAT DAMN Music blasting in you ear so you can't focus on anything else. We should be asking for a refund when they cost you money away from your business.I have complained before and they JUST DONT CARE!!!

What a horrible company!!!!! Account hacked at end of December, only opened for a couple of weeks. Essentially cleaned it out, been waiting for 3 weeks for them to reimburse, found out today they are refusing. They refuse to explain.
"ATB cares", they certainly do about themselves!!!!! They still have the hackers email linked to my account!!! Insane!!!
What happened to customer service?!
Straight out lying about contacting us with info updates.
Their security problems are apparently my problem according to them.
TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT THEY ARE ROBBERS!!!

I wanted to make some changes to my child's RESP account, so I emailed ATB prosper and surprisingly they called me in less than two hours.
Marshall Elliott, a very nice and friendly gentleman, prepared and then emailed me the required forms to sign in no time. Thank you Marshal and thank you ATB
