Been coming here for years, normally these guys are very good. My experience today was a bit disappointing. I brought in the same load as I always have and they docked me a couple hundred bucks without letting me know before they put it in the pile. I would’ve brought it back home and cleaned it up if I knew before hand. The guys are nice and clearly work hard, just wish there was better communication. Office staff said there’s nothing they can do.

I brought 3 copper pipes.
1 out of 3 pipes had a bit of brass in it. The other 2 were purely copper. They give me dirty/mixed grade. Which is 1/2 price. I am dropping scrap metal etc for last couple of yrs. They always give me the lowest grade. I understand their loyalty to the company. But integrity is something above loyalty

Today I had the best experience scrapping my car with Benmet steelmetal and it was all because of the great work of this young lad Josh! He was kind, caring and had a big smile the whole way! If you know exactly what you have and what they are offering to buy, then fine. Their rates are average or slightly better.

Either they do not know what they actually buy at, beyond basic shred rates, or they are trying to take advantage of you. Interestingly, someone else said to me the same thing as they were leaving the desk.

Either way, it can be a frustrating experience, unless you are bringing in just metal to be shredded that is LOL

Top notch Business with the Best prices. The guys in the yard are eager to help unload and Direct where to go, and the office staff are very polite.
