Only good thing about this place is it’s the cheapest in town but that’s not saying a lot anymore. Laundry never works, multiple fires and false alarms in past few years and putting requests in can go months without being dealt with. They finally fixed an outside door after more than a year of tenants saying it was dangerous and they left dozens of sharp objects behind when they were done. There are lots of children who live in this building and they do not care.

Regency Square - Washers/Dryers are always either out of order or don’t dry your clothes properly the first or second time. $2 per use on the laundry winds up becoming 3x that unless you want to keep jumping from floor to floor. Outdated units with horrible kitchen space and small bathrooms. Bad heating and thin windows so expect to hear everything from the street below if your unit faces Airport Rd. Ridiculously expensive for what you get, if you already haven’t lived here for the past decade. As said in another review, landlord is condescending and quite the treat to deal with. If you can rent anywhere else, do it.

Horrible building condition with terrible customer service! I am living in 579 McKeown Ave apt and this building has serious issues in leaking water. I reported about this a month ago and had to empty the buskets of the collected of leaked water regularly and even in the midnight. But no one came to fix it and the condition became worse as the photos shown. The water from the ouside leaked through the wall and made both rooms carpet fully soaked. When I came back, I found out the water was dripping from the ceiling directly into my laptop which caused techinical problem. Our furnitures were also soaked and became smelly. The water is yellowish and make severe fishy smell. The company hired carpet cleaning company and one of the guy came to my unit and said they would come back on Monday (March 18) so remove all the furnitures from both rooms so they can do their work easily. On Monday at 5 am, our family removed all the furnintures including heavy closets, beds, desks, chairs etc from both rooms and the building maintenance guy came and said they cannot clean the carpet this week but will come back next week. My mom (who has issues in arthritis) and I had to remove all the furnitures, and to us, putting all the furnitures back to the room and do this same job again next week was non-sense. (My mom got severe backpain and joint pain after she moved all the furnitures, but we were enough from being suffered to sleep for days for terrible smell from the soaked carpet so we really needed the carpet cleaning) After we called the office, one guy came in and set up the drying machines under the damaged carpet on both rooms and told us it would take 24 hours to be dried and then they can proceed cleaning process. The drying machines are blowing the wind under the carpet and were making heavy dusts, smell and noise. It was literally impossible to sleep, drinking all the heavy dust with terrible smell and listening noise so we contacted to the office and asked to offer any cheap hotel room to our family to stay one night. They refused the request and the reason was "We cannot offer hotel room because our landlord does not like to compensate anything about this." Yes. It was literally that reason. Our family is suffering for smell and dust and noise, but they refused it because their landlord does not want to spend any penny here. Even more, they kept chaning words about the cleaning service available date. At first, they said they would come on Monday then said they would come next week. When I complained about this they said they would make sure to clean carpet right after drying the carpet (after 24 hours), but when I called them to ask hotel stay they refused the request and said that cleaning service might be available in three days. They don't know how this is the severe issue to us and we are suffering from this living environment because they are just answering call in nice office and landlord does not care about human's right. When I explained to them that our family literally have no space to sleep and cannot sleep without mattress, the office girl said "It was your choice to remove all the furniture. You could remove partial furniture so take all the situation by yourself". The girl was horrible. I wanted to ask if you were me, would you really sleep with heavy dust, smell, and noise all night? (I even sent photos of the current situation of the rooms and still girls told me like that). They don't know basic human right and don't protect tenant's right too. We pay about $920/month for 2 bedrooms apartment and their application process is very demaning, but the maintenance process and customer service are not worth what they asked to you. They had no willingness to fix the issue as soon as possible and kept chaning the date of the cleaning service. This building makes your family members get sick, and the office will just tell you "Well, you chose to remove all the furniture from room so you sleep anywhere in the living room floor". I am living with old mom (almost 60) who has arthritis and it was what they said to us.

Broken washers and dryers on every floor at Regency Square. Can't even keep them fixed. 1 elevator usually down every weekend, very outdated Apts that are way too much. Piss poor maintenance. Whoever says rent is cheap has been here for 5+ years so of course they have the cheap rent while new people pay an arm and a leg for 80's style units in 2024. Glad i moved out of that dump. -5 stars if possible.

If i could i would rated this as a 0 star property management. They are racist if ur from another country u are required to have a guarantor wich is not a single bit logical i just came to canada living in a hotel and in dire need of a house or apartment how am i supposed to know anyone? Even when we had a work contract that paid waaay more than required we were declined without the guarantor application form they do not have a single bit of respect for human rights as stated in another comment. Anyone who had a great experience either had a guarantor or was a canadian or is fake review.

Worst property management ever, we have made an application by sending the income proof in person, after 3 months when we call to inquire about the application, they say that we do not have the income information recorded and your application is on hold! Seriously man they need to hire some skilled staff! Everytime we inquire about the application they say that they will get back to us in 10 days which they never do infact they did not made an effort to contact us and tell us that your income information is missing even after submitting the income proof in person. Will not recommend this company to anyone!

579 McKeown Avenue - upper floor. Decent living space. Large living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. This place had a leaky wall once before I moved in and apparently took very long before they did a bad patch job that is still hiding behind the fridge. Structure is super cheap and creaking all over. For a four story building, this is not built correctly.

Parking lot is so bad, people have damaged their cars on potholes. My muffler personally fell out after hitting a 9" deep pothole about 3 feet wide. They finally fixed it after several years but it looks like it was just a coverup, I give it another year before the new asphalt pops out due to bad drainage. Best of all, they charge 50$ per month to park here, with no designated parking spot. It's a free for all with the non-paying visitors.

The management is usually rude and condescending as most other people have explained on their reviews. They are cheap and do not fix crucial things until they get ordered to do so by the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Only rent here if you have nowhere else to go.

Lived in an apartment on McKeown for six years and watched it deteriorate. Multiple requests for maintenance were declined and they had the audacity to charge us for it upon departure. We are very clean (almost OCD), mature people and they charged an extra $60 cleaning fee after requesting we scrub the walls (which we did). Ensure you document everything and receive a move-in inspection because new management will create expenses for you upon departure. I DO NOT reccomend living in this apartment because a coat of paint doesn't hide all its flaws
