We haven’t moved in yet but we’ve already signed the lease and I just wanted to leave this review for Ash because he provided outstanding customer service to us. He was incredibly responsive and prompt. He assisted us every step of the way; from the apartment tour which by the way, I appreciate him for showing up on the time he said he would. Very professional. He made sure to check in to see of we had any questions or needed help, he did this without being pushy at all. We’re feeling very excited and can’t wait to move in!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this management company at all costs. I was a loyal tenant for 2 years, and the way they treated me when I moved out was absolutely unacceptable.

They’re refusing to return my damage deposit, claiming there were holes in the walls — a complete lie. I have video proof there were no holes, just small nudges in the drywall that were clearly from the original framing (which were there when I moved in).

They also charged me an unreasonable carpet cleaning surcharge for the smallest bedroom in the unit , despite me leaving it in excellent condition. No third-party receipts, just ones they made themselves, which is highly suspicious.

Let’s also talk about how I went 6 MONTHS without heat during a freezing Edmonton winter and another 6 MONTHS without a working washer/dryer. Both issues were only fixed after constant follow-ups, and the “compensation” they gave me was a joke. Any time I brought up concerns, they dragged their feet or ignored me entirely.

They don’t care about tenants — only your money. Once you move out, they’ll find any excuse to keep your deposit, no matter how dishonest. Save yourself the stress and rent elsewhere.

Ash is a professional in his field, will provide you with all the necessary information, help you with any question, he is a really responsive and decent person. I did give 5 stars before, because Ash was great HOWEVER I have had issues with the property coordinator and management.

We moved in and had to clear weeks worth of snow ourselves, and a giant ice barrier which was blocking our only parking spot (the driveway) because management did not consider us in getting any of that removed. And had later said “oh it must have snowed the day before”. Besides that, as the snow melted and cleared there was dirty, rusty screws on the driveway, it was left a mess from the builders. We brought it up to my coordinator Amel, and she had told me “The driveway was cleared and I suggest you pick them up as you see them” - all while sending me a photo of the “cleared” driveway which had a pile of screws on it that I had left. So was it really cleared or did you just take a photo of the snow removal we did and send it over and claim it was cleared? It was just plain dishonest. And on top of that she hadn’t returned ANY of my phone calls. Just emailed me so we could go back and forth for a couple days rather than get on the phone and talk it out within an hour or so. And then had the builder contact me even tho her job is coordinate maintenance. Honestly the company management seems quite incompetent and it’s a shame considering how much I’m paying a month. Something for everyone to consider before locking in. I wanted to love it, and at first I did, but to get brushed off repeatedly and get told to just pick up the dirty rusty screws has made me quite resentful towards this company.

I'm extremely disappointed with Casawise Property Management's application process. Despite having a good credit standing, stable income, and excellent references from our previous landlord, our rental application was denied.

What's even more concerning is that they informed us that they are unable to proceed any application in any of their properties. This seems unfair and unreasonable, especially given our strong qualifications.

The lack of transparency and communication throughout the process was also frustrating. We were not provided with clear reasons for the denial, which makes it difficult for us to understand what we could have done differently.

I would caution others to carefully consider their experience with Casawise Property Management before applying.

Furthermore, I've found their communication to be unresponsive and dismissive. Emails go unanswered, and it's clear they don't value their applicants' time or concerns.
