the good and the bad.
so Ive rented from these guys for two years, the first year was great. I had no issues whatsoever. I shared the apartment with my sister and left it as clean as when we moved in, minus some tack holes. the next apartment from them i rented was Maray apartments, at first it seems like a great place. since moving into that place, I have had nothing but problems. the problems included:
-no hot water for a week + one random day.
- the pipes in the walls banging and clanging for a week straight.
-a neighbor who was crazy
-the constant smell of weed in the building/apartment.
-tenants smoking on their balconies even though the lease prohibits that.
-mail boxes being broken into by a tenant and not fixed or acknowledged in a timely matter(most likely isn't fixed yet was broken into sometime around October 6th 2020).
-a dog that barked for 7+ hours a day and just was extremely loud.
-raising their rent for their tenants during a pandemic claiming that the suite is renovated even though in is in poor condition due to being old.
-being told during the moveout walk through that I have left it cleaner then when I moved in, (even got the carpets clean with a professional carpet cleaner) and to only get half of my damage deposit back.
the good:
-Jessica and Walter are some of the nicest people I have met and have always been pleasant and great to deal with. their boss not so much, would not recommend dealing with him.
-the rented to me and my sister when we didn't have jobs, and were very understanding at first of situation.
-they allowed me to rent from them with a dog and cat without any issues, so good for people with pets.
-the snow throughout the winter was shovelled fast and was done before 12 most days.
now I understand some of these issues are out of their control, and cannot be changed because it isn't their job to do so. they still should have addressed and fixed some of the problems as soon as they came up. I did not take photos or a video of my old apartment showing it was clean, that is on me and I fully own up to it. I'm just writing this because i am disappointed in them as a rental company, and am hoping to warn others from making the same mistake I did.

They rarely if ever answer their phone, never call you back when they say they will and don't answer voicemails. They used to have an emergency number but they never answered that either so they got rid of it. Our hot water is not working and I have no way of knowing if they are even aware, let alone if something is being done about it or when.

That's just the most immediate and ongoing issue I've had with them, but in no way is it the only.

Will never reccomend this company, to the point where I'd actively discourage people if they ask.

If I could give 0 starts I would. Absolutely atrocious slum lords. Do not rent here. You will deeply regret it.

This Company doesn't even deserve a star they are a very bad company to rent from they will kick you our for no reason and not give you your damage deposit back i would not let me worst enemy rent from this company
