Overstepping their authority and not notifying elderly clients of their actions. They removing cheque privileges, which in turn stopped all pre authorize payment to severa business that were set up for pre authorized payment. One partucular Life Insurance policy that has been going on for 60 years with no changes to bank accounts since it was opened over 60 years ago. This one is the most important one as it cause problems and effects their permium of the policy. Also, they allowed family members to get on accounts and move accounts and money around. Then, lied about it and pointed the finger to the businesses involved that had no problem up to the point CBIC started tampering in their accounts. Lost total respect and faith in this person and soon in CIBC. As they are financial institution that deal with billions of funds from clients.
